( First Person Point of View: Byron)
I was dawdling outside of the hospital under the searing sun trying to distract myself that I didn't hit Thelma awhile ago. I don't know what happened to me but I know that something is not right. I lost my control awhile ago, and bad thoughts popped out; I chased and knock her head off.
I crouched my head seeing a wounded woman in my arms, there was blood spilling from her head due to the impact with the door. I felt ebullient, I don't know why. But when I carried her, it seems like she had no weight, so light as if I'm holding a pen. Vitality spread throughout my body.
I felt numb. I am waiting to feel guilty for what I've done, but no emotions triggered my body.
This is unusual.
My amygdala isn't responding. Something's wrong with my brain.
I looked back at Thelma; she's dying.
I rested her body turning into corpse down to the ground.
Then as I plodded towards the shadows of hospital warehouse, a smoke caught my attention.
There was no door, so I cautiously stepped inside.
Zero visibility.
I'm expecting that anytime soon; I'll suffocate. But after 5 minutes, nothing happened. It was just a green smoke. I splayed my hands up to the air and waved them towards then backwards, as if I was trying to float in an ocean to clear the colloidal substance dispersed in the air away from my vision.
My feet got me to the middle of the warehouse where I saw............
Corpses stacked together. Most them were nurses and doctors. Some were patients, others were.......
People that I saw during that factory incident- stampeding.
What the heck had happened?
As he examined all the people's faces, one of them caught his attention.
