The hobbits Frodo and Sam had just left leaving just gimli, Arogon , and Legolas. They had a plan the would go and save the two other hobbits who had been taken prisoner by the orcs. As legolas looked out afar the sun shown on him. It reminded him of Tauriel, the way her hair shown like fire when ever the sun rested upon it.

He closed his eyes and tried to make the pain go away." She does not love me, she loves that dwarf. There was never hope and there never will be." His thought was interrupted by Arogon " My friend we must make haste if we are to catch up with the orcs." Legolas nodded. Arogon put a hand on legolas's shoulder" Never give up hope my friend, she will come back to you. You can always gain back what you lost". he smiled and walked away. " You can not gain some thing back that which you never had." legolas thought and started packing up.
At tauriels pov
Tauriels leg was almost healed all the way and she was getting around a lot easier. Today was the first day she could go into the woods again. When tauriel approached her guard every on cheered.She was happy to be back after 3 and a half months and was excited to get back into the woods.
When the guard entered the woods there was a foul stench that came from a couple meters away. " Andor, have you taken the guard out since i have been wounded?" tauriel asked her second hand elf." No captain, this is the first we have been on a petrol."
Tauriel motioned for her guard to stay back as she climbed up a tree to see were the foul stench was coming from. As she slowly peaked of the tree she saw a sight that truly horrified her. A whole pack of orcs, camping in the woods of mirrkwood. She quickly slid down the tree but as she did she stopped herself. Tauriel slowly climbed back up the tree to justify what she saw.
Yes it was! two hobbits. It reminded her of bilbo and how dainty he was. All of a sudden she smelled that terrible smell again only it was right next to her this time. With know warning a creatures hand with sharp claws clung heavy to her shoulder and a knife was put to her throat!
