Tauriel's heart dropped in her stomach as the cold metal of the orcs knife rested on her throat. " Good bye legolas." she said to her self expecting the orc to slit her throat. Instead, to her surprise the orc took the hilt of his blade and knocked her over the head. Little specks of gold blue and red clouded her vision and then everything went black.
Back with the guard
After about ten minutes of tauriel being gone one elf in particular decided that he wanted to see to. So slowly, he crept away from every one and took the path that his leader had. In shock, he watched as an especially large orc knocked out his leader. In even more horror he looked to his side to see hundreds of orcs camped out and making themselves at home.
Instead of doing the honorable thing as any elf should do, go to his captains rescue, he scurried away like a mouse that has just seen a cat. As he stumbled back to the guard, all eyes were on him, wondering why he had disobeyed orders.
Panting, and gasping for breaths he told the rest of the guard what he had seen!
" Did you not help our captain?" said one tall elf with brown long hair in rage. " What shall we do?", " where shall we go?" asked other elves. The elf who had sneaked away just kept saying " We need to go, we need to go! Now!". " And what about our leader, are we to leave her?". " yes!" said the elf who was to cowardly to try and save his leader.
" Did she tell you we must go back with out her?" All eyes turned towards him. He paused be fore answering " Yes........ Our captain wishes us to leave back to mirkwood and try not to save her."
Shouts of disagreement filled the air until one of the older and wiser elves came forth and made the decision. " If What this elf says is truthful than we are greatly out numbered, and all of our lives are in danger. We may be immortal but we are not invincible." at this all the elves shouted in disappointment. The older elf calmed them down and said " Let us not be discouraged. We shall not forget our captain for i know she shall not forget us even as she is in captive by our foes. We shall go back to Mirckwood, tell our king of what we have seen, and receive reinforcements. Only then, can we save our captain."
And with that All the elves marched in formation back to mirrckwood.
