Ten years later

Faith's POV

I stood in front of a tall mirror.

"Wow!" My mom said, "You look absolutely beautiful."

I smiled. "Thanks mom." Today was the day. The day almost every girl dreams of her whole life. Her wedding day. I feel that weird mixture of excitement and nervousness, but mostly excitement.

"Are you ready?" My sister asked. "It's almost time to start."

"I've been ready for years," I answered.

"Well okay then, let's get this show on the road," Ashley said. Yes, her, Kaitlyn, Jenna, and my sister are bridesmaids. My sister is the maid of honor though.

"Alright sweetie," my mom walked over and gave me a kiss on the cheek. "I'm going to go find my seat. See you out there."

"Okay, see you out there." I hugged her before she left.

"We better get in our places," Jenna said. The rest agreed. Then they all told me how happy they were for me, hugged me, and started to walk out of the room.

Right before Kaitlyn left, she turned to me and said, "Marriage is great. I know you two will be really happy."

"Thanks Kait," I smiled. She waved and then shut the door behind her. She got married almost two years ago, and I honestly didn't think I'd be next considering Ashley is the one who caught the bouquet. But she's engaged now so she's getting there. Jenna has also been in a relationship for a few years now, so she shouldn't be far behind either.

I heard a knock on the door. "Come in," I said. It was my dad.

"You ready?"

I looked at myself in the mirror one last time to make sure everything was perfect. "Absolutely."

"Well, I'm not. I can't believe my little girl is getting married."

I could see tears in his eyes. "Awe dad, don't cry. You're gonna make me cry and I promised myself I would hold back tears as long as possible." I laughed and walked over to him and gave him a hug. "I love you, dad."

"I love you too. Shall we go then?"

"Yes, we shall." We walked out of the room and down the hallway to the main room. We waited behind big wooden double doors. Reed's younger cousin was the flower girl. She was wearing the cutest red dress. After the last bridesmaid and groomsman walked into the main room, it was just the flower girl, my dad, and I.

Then someone cracked the door open and said, "C'mon honey. Time to throw the petals." And the flower girl walked out. I took a deep breath.

"You okay?" My dad asked.

"Yeah, I just- I can't believe it's finally happening." Before my dad could say anything else, the Bridal Chorus started playing. "That's our que." We smiled at each other, and the doors opened. I saw Reed for the first time all day. He looked so good in his tux. He had the biggest smile that I had ever seen. I smiled back. As I got closer, I could see tears in his eyes. At first I thought, awe how cute, but then I thought, dang it, now I'm going to cry. It was still cute though, and made me feel really loved.

When I finally got up there and my dad handed me off, Reed whispered, "You look absolutely  beautiful." I smiled back at him because I knew if I tried to talk I'd start tearing up. Which we both did a little while saying our vows. We are such babies it's kind of funny.

After our vows and the "I do's," the preacher finally declared is husband and wife. "Reed, you may kiss your bride." Reed smiled as he put both hands on my cheeks, and we kissed. "Ladies and gentleman," the preacher said, "may I now present Mr. and Mrs. Reed Deming." Everyone stood up and clapped. I looked over and both of my parents were crying, so once again I started tearing up.

Reed grabbed my hand. "Are you ready Mrs. Deming?"

I laughed. "Why of course I am." Then we walked back down the isle and went out into the hallway. We kissed again before everyone else started walking out.

Later that night at the reception, we had food and punch. We also had our first dance to our song, "Bless the Broken Road." I danced with my dad too. While we danced he told me how happy he was for me. I thanked him for being such a good dad. Then, a lot of pictures were taken, and a lot of speeches were given. It was all so perfect and I couldn't have asked for anything more.

When it came time for us to leave, everyone lined up outside to see us off. We walked out of the doors, and there were two lines of people making a path towards our car. They blew bubbles at us, and I thought I was cute. Everyone was waving and saying goodbye. Reed and I quickly ran over to my family and best friends and gave them all hugs. They all congratulated us for probably the hundredth time. Then we went over to his family and friends, and did the same thing.

"Have fun in Hawaii," his mom said.

"We will," he replied. When we got to our car, we turned around and thanked everyone for coming and for the wedding gifts. Then, Reed walked me around to the other side of the car, and opened the door for me.

"For you, my wife."

"Awe, thanks my husband." We laughed, and I got into the car. Reed ran around to the other side and got in. He started the car and looked straight ahead with a smile.

"What?" I asked.

"Nothing," he looked over at me, "I just can't believe I get to spend the rest of my life with the most beautiful woman in the world."

I smiled and leaned over and kissed him. "I love you," I said.

As we drove off he replied, "I love you too."
