Ch. 2 - The Move In
"Here it is everyone!" my dad announced, "Our new home! And I am very pleased to say that we won't be moving anymore. I finally found the perfect job position for me, so I hope we all like it here." My dad is a lawyer.
Whoa...did I just hear what I thought I heard...? Yes! I did! We won't be moving anymore baby! Woohoo! I started doing a little dance.
"Um...Faith?" my mom asked.
"Oh sorry, I couldn't help myself." Then it dawned on me. What if it was horrible here? What if I hated it? Then I would be stuck with it until I move out. I'm just hoping for the best.
We all got out of the car, and looked at our new house. It looks pretty nice. Then my dad unlocked it, and we all walked inside. It is bea-u-ti-ful! I mean..WOW! He really went all out on this one. It wasn't that is was HUGE or anything because honestly, it wasn't. It was just really nice. My brothers were happy because they finally got there own room.
My room is normal sized with its own bathroom. I know it doesn't sound like a big deal but I've never had my own bathroom before, and I'm a teenage girl, it'll be nice to have some privacy! Then I went on a tour of our house, and its pretty cool.

We moved in two days ago, and just got back from seeing the new schools and principals. I'm in 10th grade so I'm in the High School. I got introduced to all of my teachers, got my schedule, and learned where everything is.
After that, I set down and looked over my schedule and a map of the school a couple of times. I am starting Monday and today is Saturday.

It is Sunday night and I am pretty nervous. I started thinking about school. What if I couldn't make any friends? What if i hated it? What if I didn't like it in Texas at all? All these thoughts were going through my head while I got ready for bed. When I was done, I told everyone goodnight and layed in bed forever.
I need good sleep for school, especially a new one. So at 12:47a.m. I rolled over and shut my eyes still thinking. The last thought that went through my mind before I fell asleep was that it's a nice school, nice teachers, a nice principal, I just hope the students are nice too.
