Blake's POV

She's alive but only just. My wounds heal quickly thanks to being a werewolf of Alpha blood, but Scar being a human means she wouldn't get the privilege.

Dr Chow works on Scar's multiple injuries while I watch. The bullet was removed from my hip and my burns where treated and now, a week later, I'm good as new. Blake however was put into a drug induced coma to stop the seizures. 

She's been in and out if the operating room, having bones screwed into place, a skin graph, her appendicitis (which burst due to blunt force trauma  to her stomach) removed, her throat reconstructed, her vocal cords repaired and more. All that time I've been here, along with a black man named Peter who told me about what happened during the time I thought she was dead.

I'm so proud of my mate. She took on werewolves, she faced death multiple time and she fought for her pack. Like a real Luna.

I squeeze her hand and look at her pale face. The doctor told me not to have high hopes for her survival but as the days have gone past she's refused to die. She's my little fighter. Now the doctors are taking her out of the coma and it's only a matter of time before she wakes up.

Sure she'll have to stay in hospital for a few days more but at least I'll be able to talk to her, tell her I'm sorry she had to go through that and that I'll look after but most of all thank her. Without her we would all be dead.

She's the most extraordinary human ever.

To be honest when I fist saw her I thought she'll be very delicate but she proved me wrong.

My brother explained to me who Mike was and told me what he had done to him. Matt truly felt very bad about what h had done, and so he should have. He opened a new club in our territory for bullied children and adults to go and talk to a canceller for free and anomalously, he called it 'Mikey's'.

Things between our pack and The Red Moon Pack has improved greatly, we transferred a few of our pack doctors to help with their wounded as a sign of respect. Funnily enough one of our doctors turned out to be their Alpha's mate, now we can rest easy knowing he wouldn't attack our pack because his mates family are friends live here.

We lost a lot of our people but are pack is stronger, helping each other deal with the lose of loved ones.

But what is the best thing of all? My mate of cause, beautiful even with her scars, is here with me and I'll never let something like that happen ever again. She's mine. Forever.
