I stroll into our room to see Blake laying in bed still asleep, I jump on to the bed next to her. She mumbles slightly and rolls towards me to hugs me in her sleep. At least I have her.
Someone knocks on the door making me jump. I get up and walk to the door, I open it to see a man in a suit I have seen a few guards wear.
"Can I help you?" I ask, eyebrow raised.
"The king has asked to see you." he says, bowing at me.
"Right" I shrug, wonder what he wants now.
The guard who I think is a tall human but something tells me different, walks very quickly down the corridors. I struggle to keep up with him, he glances back at me multiple times.
He leads me out the front door and that's when I start to question him.
"Where are we going?" I ask, slowing my walk behind him.
"To the king." he says shortly, grabbing me by the wrist.
"I think I'm going to go back" I say, struggling against him, there's something wrong with him.
"We're almost there" he says, pulling me further away from the house and towards a forest.
"Let me go" I demand but he doesn't. Instead he picks me up and swings me over his shoulder. "GET THE FUCK OFF ME!!" I scream, pounding on his back. The man who I had thought was human starts speeding away at a very inhuman speed.
I look up from his back and see Benji and the black haired boy who is my step brother who's name I don't even know. Seeing them makes me feel a little better.
"HELP ME!" I scream at them, reaching me arm out towards them.
Benji has a determined look on his face as he draws closer.
"He's going to the portal!" the black haired boy shouts, eyes growing. Benji pushes himself harder as I start to cry. The portal? I might not know much about this place but I know a portal wont do me any good in this situation,
"HELP ME!" I cry again, struggling harder.
The boys stop running and look at me desperately.
"HELP-" I start by I'm cut off by a blue light that temporally blinds me.
I open my eyes and find myself looking up at the purple sky on my back, I groan as pain in my back spreads. I sit up and see a white hole in a perfect circle hovering above the ground, that must be the portal.
