"The under world is a civilisation that isn't actually around the world it's more between this world and the after life. Time flows differently there, apparently night and day comes when ever they pleases, night could pass in minutes or last years. Fey, Elves, vampires, gargoyles, cat sith, werewolves and more all dream of living there but they cant get in unless they get invited by the king who your mother is now marrying. He rules over the whole of the underworld, he chooses who can come and who has to go. He is the most powerful being in both this world and the under world, so even say that he could take on Gods!" Blake explains laying next to me on her bed.

I do my best try and take in the information.

"So my mum is going to be queen?" I ask,

"Apparently so" Blake says, finding this just as unbelievable as me if not more so. "That'll make you a princess you know?" Blake says looking over at me, grinning slightly. "My princess" she adds, kissing me on the lips.

"Do you think he's being good to my mum?" I ask, biting my lip a little.

"She's his blood singer, he basically has no choose." Blake laughs lightly.

"Tell me more about vampire's"  

"Well, they are extremely rare. They can't survive here in this world for long, the Gods don't want them living among humans because when they used to they would all just eat the humans.-"

"Eat humans?" I ask, eyebrow raised.

"Yeah, they loved the blood of virgin human girls but the Gods got mad and forced them out of the human world. It's very risky for a vampire to come to this world, the Gods made them allergic to the earths sun so they can only really come here at nights and even then the Gods make it amazingly hard for them to get through anyway." 

"They don't really seem like the dream step family." I mumble making Blake giggle.

"Your step father is the king of the underworld, trust me no one will be able to touch you. In this world or the next." she states, "And anyway, last I checked you're not a virgin." Blake smirks making me blush bright red.

"What else do you know about the underworld?" I ask, changing the subject.

"Not much to be fair. All I know is that it's meant to be like a paradise, all the super naturals want entrance but the only way to get in is to get invited by the king. He watches people in this world then decides who is worthy of entering." Blake explains.

"And now we've both got invited there." 

"Yup. I recon Matt is amazingly jealous" she smirks to herself.

"I'd say he can come to but it's not really up to me." I laugh.

"So do you want to go?" Blake asks, almost hesitantly.

"I just want to be sure my mum is safe." I state.

Suddenly Blake jumps up on her bed and starts jumping about squealing. I stare at her with my mouth open and eye brows drawn together. 

"YES FUCKERS!" she screams, fist punching the air.

"Blake, calm down." I giggle.

She turns slightly pink and flops back onto the bed.

"Sorry... I'm just so excited. I never thought I would get an opportunity like this" she admits. "I can't believe my mate is princess of the under world. I've heard stories about the underworld since I was a baby, mum used to use it as a threat saying when I was bad that he was watching and was crossing me off the list of people aloud in." she grins, kissing me on the nose.

"Me either" I mumble. "Do you think we need to pack some things?" I ask.

"Nah. They'll have stuff I guarantee."    Blake says back, still sounding chuffed to bits about this whole ordeal.

"I still can't believe this." I sigh. "I don't know what to feel right now."

"You should be happy, you're a princess now." she smiles, trying to cheer me up.

"The letter says something about siblings, does this Victor guy have a lot of kids?" I ask,

"Yeah, I think he has five. One girl and four guys." she says,

"Right" I say, so this guy must get around, "What happened to their mum? Or mum's?" I ask

"No clue. I think they all have different mum's though" Blake says,

"Great" I roll my eyes. Great, a man who gets around.

Tonight me and Blake will travel by acorn to the underworld where I am now a princess to watch my mum get married to a vampire. At least I know where my mum is now.
