"What is this place?" I ask, standing still looking at the building with my mouth hanging wide open.

"Hell. I already told you that." The man says as he stays to drag me closer to the bolted closed doors of the structure.

"Why am I here?" I ask.

"To meet the king. God women never listen." He tuts raising a fist to pound on the huge door.

"Name and business." A scratchy voice demands through a speaker.

"Tallon. I bring the girl his majesty wanted." Tallon says.

The door creaks open to reveal a empty hallway. The design of the inside of the castle isn't anything like the one I was in last. That one was warm, welcoming and had people scattered around always looking ready to help. The whole place looked loved and lived in, personal touches such as family portraits could be seen everywhere, you could tell from a mile away people lived there, grew up there, loved there. Here is a completely different story. The whole place was made from the same crystal, empty shelves and walls, chandlers, door frames with no doors, the floor, stairs, empty rocking chairs. The whole place was silent and cold. A fog like condensation rolled off every object leaving the room like hazy, making my head hurt.

"Home sweet home" Tallon mutters from the side of me.

"What the hell?" I ask myself as I walk past a candle that has a flickering blue flame above it.

Tallon leads us deeper and deeper into the strange house. It's definitely bigger on the inside.

"The king has been waiting for this for a long time, so you better not fuck this up." Tallon advises, not sounding like he's trying to be rude be succeeding regardless.

"Vincent?" I ask, hoping that this had all been a misunderstanding on my behalf and I was just going to talk to my mums soon to be husband.

"Don't you fucking dare mention that name in this house." Tallon says, his eyes glowing slightly with anger.

"Sorry.." I mumble. If it isn't him, who could it be?

After about a twenty minute walk up a flight of never ending stairs we get to the first door that I've seen inside this house.

Tallon looks at me, quickly pushing my hair into place and brushing out the wrinkles in my dress. He then turns to the door and knocks.

The doors are opened by two heavily armed guards who stand at easily over 7" both wearing identical black uniforms that almost resemble what the queens guards wear minus the hats. They also hold long spears made of the same crystal. They are so big that because they are standing side by side I cant see past them into the room.

"Tallon. Why are you here and why did you bring this human?" One asks.

"A favour for the king." Tallon smirks up at the threatening looking beasts.

"What makes you believe the King would want this human?" Asks the other one as he sheets down at my tiny body.

"Trust me. Inform him I have brought the girl and he will invite me in without hesitation I guarantee" Tallon says, looking smug.

The monsters nod and shut up the door. Me and Tallon stand there for a few minutes in silence while we wait. As the seconds tick by I feel myself getting more and more anxious about what's to come.

The door rattles open again and me and Tallon are let in by the guards who push us along like they're in a huge rush.

We walk through a huge grand hall way on a long carpet made of a continues strip of white fur towards a new set of doors.

The guards swing open the heavy doors like they are nothing and continue to rush us forwards.

Now we come into a thrown room filled with empty chairs. Only two people sit in here, one in the kings chair and the other the queens.

The king gets to his feet when we enter, the queen stays seated looking anything but pleased.

The king, a man around the age of 40 stands at the edge of the raised platform that is the throwns stage wearing smart black clothes with a black fur cape. His eyes stayed glued to me, a blank expression on his wrinkled yet handsome face.

We get to stand in front of the two and the three man bow, I follow along. Once I look up I see the king still staring at me.

"Scarlet?" He asks, I nod silently. "I-" the king starts but is cut off by a cough by Tallon.

"At her hem" Tallon says making the king glare sharply at him. "The payment." Tallon reminds him.

The king growls at him slightly before picking him off the ground like he was nothing and dropping him on the ground next to him.

"I Lucifer, give this street peasant the use of one wish that may be used at any time or place." The king growls at him. A cool breeze rushes past us making me shiver slightly.

Tallon grins widely and hopes off the platform, almost skipping towards the door.

"One last this Tallon." The king calls, Tallon freezes and turns to look at him. "Don't forget who's the king here." He states grimmly making his shiver with the threat.

"Never sir." Tallon assures.

"Guards take him to the dungeons." He demands making him stiffen with fear.

To my surprise two huge trolls pull themselves out the the crystal walls, they themselves being made of crystal. They struggle with Tallon, eventually able to grab him they lead the struggling boy away out the room.

"Can't he just use the wish to get out again?" I ask.

"That would be a serious waste of a wish from a king." He says

"S-sorry. I didn't mean to say that out loud." I stutter, going red with embarrassment and fear.

"No worries my darling daughter." Lucifer grins at me.

And that's the last think I remember before my head hits the ground.
