The king leads us into a different room, a few guards trailing behind with blank expressions. The crowd continue to cheer so loud I can hear them from down the hall.
The nameless sons and daughter walk gracefully down the hall with us., one of the sons pushing my wheel chair making me feel really awkward. I don't like feeling this vulnerable, do you think they know I can wheel myself?
"Take her to the medics then meet us in the dinning room" the kings says to the man wheeling me.
The ginger boy nods and breaks away from the group, two guards following us. He doesn't say anything to me for a moment and I wonder if I should be the one to break the silence.
"I'm Benjie" says the ginger boy with a strong American accent, I look up at him to see his bring green eyes looking straight forwards not looking at me.
"I'm Scar" I introduce back.
He looks down at me and grins slightly.
"I know" he laughs lightly flashing me his fangs, I look down blushing lightly.
"So what do you think of my mum?" I ask,
"She's nice, very quiet around us, I assume you'll be the same" he smirks,
"I'm not good at starting convocations but I'm good at keeping other people talking so I don't have to." I admit, making Benji laugh.
"Interesting way to live" He smiles.
"Thanks?" I say after a second of silence. "What's your family like?" I ask. Half to avoid a awkward silence and also just so that he has to talk and I don't which I think he noticed.
"Well, Blythe is my twin sister, she's annoying. We're both just turned 84-"
"84!" I exclaim looking back at his face which looks no older then 17.
"Yeah, vampires remember" he laughs,
"How old is your dad?" I ask, wanting to know what kind of age gap my mum is in for.
"He's as old as the universe , he was one of the first beings to walk on earth who isn't a God." he says.
I stay silent, too speechless to say anything for a moment. His dad only looks about 40 tops.
"But my mum will age" I say , he wont want her when she looks all wrinkly.
"Not here she won't" he shakes his head, "We all age at the same rate here".
He wheels me into a little hospital room. Which doesn't look like it really belongs in this castle.
"Your majesty's" a old woman with a wrinkly face bows at us.
"Can you fix her up?" Benji asks the old woman who ha her head bowed.
"Of cause your majesty, it would be an honour" she says quickly looking over my body.
Her blue eyes fog up as her hands hover over my leg, I stare at her not knowing how I should feel. She continues to let her ands hover over my different injuries while I sit there awkwardly. I wonder what Blake is doing, I hope she isn't dying from awkwardness.
The woman's eyes go back to blue and she grins at herself happily. She walks over to a some draws and pulls out a pair of long scissors, my eyes grow slightly making Benji laugh. I look over at him, having forgot that he was even there.
"She's just going to cut off the cast." he assures and she does. Benji nods at the woman dismissing her.
"Thank you" I call to the woman as she exits making her walk faster, Benji rolls his eyes and moves to stand in front of me.
"Stand up then" he laughs, I raise my eyebrow but slowly put my bad foot on the ground. Surprisingly I feel no pain so I continue to stand.
"Huh, that's strange" I comment, walking about with out pain for the first time with out pain for a long time.
"Let's go get some food" Benji states, grabbing my wrist and pulling me out the room and down some halls.
After a good few minutes of walking through the halls that all look the same and never look like they end. I feel so small right now, I don't think it was that bad before because I was sat down and had became used to looking up at people but now I have no excuse. Benji stands at least two foot above me and these hallways are clearly made for people much bigger then me. If you imagine a average hall and then shrink yourself to half your height you would kind of get the perspective I have right now.
Benji pulls us into a big dinning room where the others sit. Blake beams at me, stuffing her face with some sort of food I've never seen before.
I make my way to the seat next to Blake and Benji decides to sit next to me even though there are multiple different chairs free by his siblings. I smile to myself thankful at least he likes me even which takes the edge off a little.
"How you feeling?" Blake asks, looking at my now bare leg,
"Great." I whisper back.
"So how have you been?" my mum asks, finishing a forkful of what looks like purple eggs.
"Fine" I shrug, used to not having long convocation's with her. I look at the plate in front of me and raise my eyebrow, I have no idea what the fuck that is.
"We where watching you during the werewolf war." my mum says, I look up at her with a confused look.
"I have the ability to look into the other world." the king clears up for me, I nod.
"It was pretty insane watching you. It was like I was watching a horror film and was screaming at the telly calling the main character a idiot" the ginger girl says from across the table. That must be Benji twin, Blythe.
"Yeah, what human in there right mind runs into a battle of wolves?" Benji asks,
"Were all of you watching?" I ask, blushing slightly.
"Yeah. And I thought it was romantic, she risked her life for her mate, that's so sweet." A black haired boy says, smiling at me.
"Weren't you scared? You don't look it" Benji asks.
"Of cause I was scared." I say to him, feeling shocked he even needed to ask.
"I thought you where going to die" my mum says, tearing up slightly. I stare at he shocked while the king hold her to him.
She never acted like she cared whether I lived or died.
"I'm so sorry I've been such a shit mother." she says, staring to cry hysterically.
I feel over come by emotions, I never thought something like this would happen. I grab Blake's arm and pull her out the room.
I speed down the hall Blake behind me. I don't know where we're going but I cant be around her right now.
"Scar." Blake says, trying to get my attention. I ignore her and keep going hardly even hearing her. "SCAR" she says making me finally stop, standing in the middle of these large halls. "What happened to you?" she asks.
