Chapter 21: Prt.1

They arrived at the arcade station and it's a place where they can rent the whole room with— different arcade games— just the 3 of them. Good because they need privacy.

V called Jungkook for a moment in a corner.

"Waaah. Go plan your strategies. I'll wait here till you're ready." Joy said to them.

"Yah, you know she's confident because she knows we'll let her win." V whispered to Jungkook.

"Really? I thought she is really good with games."

"She is but I always let her win."

"Hyung, don't joke around. We both know you're really bad at these." Jungkook said and shuts up V for a while.

"Yah, I'm perfectly aware about that." And he goes, "Look, the bet is if she wins we'll buy her an ice-cream and if we win she'll buy us a set of skewers. See? A set of skewers versus 2 cones of ice-cream, do you see the difference? She knows we'll let her win that's why she agreed."

"Hyung, I don't get why you're telling me this."

"I'm used to being a loser and you're not."

"I'm willing to be a loser for her hyung." Jungkook gives him a brotherly-hood tap on the back.

"Okay basketball for the warm-up!" Joy shouted.

Jungkook will play against Joy, "Yah, both of you! Don't ever think to lose your pride for me just because I'm a girl." Jungkook and V looked at her, "Let's play this fair and square. If you lose, Jungkook will kiss Taehyung oppa on the cheeks or vice versa."

"What?!" The two shouted.

3... the game was about to start and the two are just there trying to argue with Joy, "Deal?" 2...

"It's unfair!" V said.

"Aigo! Deal!" Joy shouted. ...1 and the game started with Jungkook not knowing what to do.

In the end the eager of Jungkook not wanting the penalty to happen won. Score? 102-76.

"Yeah! Yeah! Yeah!" The two shouted doing their secret handshake in happiness of winning although it is not what they planned.

"Yeri and I have our secret handshake too!" she smiled while telling them.

"It's lousy and not as cool as ours." The competitive spirit of V boosted out in a second.

"How dare you call it lousy?" the bull was offended and about to spit fire, "We got our new handshake! Better than what you watched on our Vlive!"

"Show it." V provoked.

"Stupid! Yeri is not here! Do you expect me to shake-hands with myself?!"

"Let's stop this you're already mad. Let's go, I'll buy your ice-cream to cool your head."

"Na-ah. We'll play 2 games more. You can't get me with that."

Jungkook sighed in distress and tried to whine, "Why do we have an additional penalty and you don't? It's unfair."

"Yah, it's not like I can kiss both of you if I lose!" Jungkook's ears redden, "And also the price of the ice-cream I want is 15 times more expensive than a set of skewers, I felt unfair first!"

"You agreed with that." V tried to speak.

"I did! and we also got the deal close with the penalty I added."

"No way. We didn't. We never did." V highlighted.

"Yes you did! By playing the first round. We played the basketball with both of you knowing that if you lose you'll get to kiss each other on the cheeks. Isn't that shows that you agreed?"

The two became speechless trying to filter everything in their mind.

Jungkook thinks about it and realized this is wrong but at the same time she is right, she got a point. "Aish, arasso. It's my fault hyung, let's go play the next game."

"I don't like!"

"Yah! Jungkook is already fine with it, can't you just agree with him?"

"No-!" V tries to argue more but Jungkook cuts in, "You know what? Hyung already told me that you both bicker too much whenever you're together but I never expected it will be worse than me and Jin hyung when we play."

"It's his/her fault" Joy and V both said in unison.

Jungkook's shoulders falls thinking, 'We both know we can't win an argument against her.'

"Let's get this over, second round?" Joy said looking at Jungkook smiling.

"Nintendo." V said briefly.

"Call!" Joy said and rolls her eyes when she looked at him.

She seats in front of the controller and says, "You know Jungkook? When you came in first in the ice-cream store, we should have had left and play with just the two of us." She leans a bit on her left where Jungkook is standing between the two controllers and winked. Jungkook already know what it means. She's messing around with V because she knows he's easily disheartened with situation like this.

He plays along since it's just for fun. "Yes, I think it would be more fun."

V was seating in the opposite side and Jungkook can perfectly peak on his annoyed expression so he send a low thumbs up to Joy to tell her that it's effective and Joy smirks and nods.

The game begins and the way V harshly pushes the buttons is bad, it looks like it was about to worn out but thankfully he didn't destroy anything. Their game ends and the winner? Joy.

Well, it's not like he let her win but you can say it was kinda like it because he looks so focused in playing the game but Jungkook knows him well, he may be looking at the screen but his focus is still flying around.

"Woo-hoo!" Joy screamed and stands up, "Jungkook high five!" she raises her hand and Jungkook reaches for it and they exchanged a nod.

"Yah, Jungkook, we're in the same team right? Did you already forget about me?"

Joy slightly nudge Jungkook on his shoulder, "Omo, someone's jealous. Someone wants to get a kiss from you. Someone who intentionally lose Nintendo against me."

V is pissed, "Yah, stop it. What's the game for the third round?"

"Karaoke but we should sing ballad instead and who ever got the highest score wins." And she goes, "Me and Jungkook for the third game so try to relax. I can see a black aura around you right now." and pouts to tease him more.

She grabs Jungkook's arms and run to one karaoke.

The winner? none other than, Jungkook. Well it's his faith to win that day even he chose a very bad song to sang.

Tomorrow I'll upload the prt.2 of this. Then the next chapters will be announced because it might take long again for me to update.

This story might have last 4 chapters, Chapter 22 may be the last and I'll give 3 parts for my epilogue. Well, I'm not yet sure with that since I don't want this story to look like this is rushed, though. But the sure thing is, this has less number of chapters left than you expect it to have.

Another reminder, I'll change my username starting tomorrow to 'vivalavc' once I upload the prt.2 of this.
