Chapter 16

     The streets on the way to the karaoke bar are busy and noisy. It's not a public market but the stores along the way are side by side despite of the narrow space of the street. The three of them are looking around while walking when Minji accidentally stepped on Joy's shoelace that causes for her to trip but luckily she balanced herself well and didn't fall down.

     "Mianhae unnie." Minji apologized.

     "It's fine. It happens quite often to me." She said then kneels to tie it. Jungkook saw what happens and he quickly reaches down to tie it for her even before Joy touches her laces.

     "T-thank you." She said.

     "Don't fall." He mumbles to himself and Joy didn't hear any of his words.

     "What?" she asked.

     "I said you're welcome." He smiled after tying her shoelace. They both stand up facing each other when Minji shouted, "Watch out! There's a bicycle coming!"

     Jungkook looks on where the Bicycle is coming and pulls Minji closer to him as soon as he saw where it's going and his other hand lands on the wall beside to protect them and locks Joy to his arms. The oi bell noise came from the bicycle that seems to be in a hurry as it goes nearer and nearer warning that the bike might bump to them.

     A bell. And his world goes in slow motion again as his face was so near to Joy and her hair is slowly blowing by the wind revealing her covered face. Again?! His heart beat's abnormal as he saw her close her eyes firmly when she realized just how close their nose are so he threw his head back to remove all his imaginations in his mind and moved backward instinctively. Seriously! I should forget about that movie. I'll never watch it again!

     "I'm sorry." The boy riding the bicycle shouted to them clasping his hands together before stepping on the pedal and go. The two of them clears their throat and sighed deeply. Woooh! Blowing out some air and releasing the thought that came to their mind.

     "Are you okay?" Jungkook asked Minji.

     "Yes oppa." She answered.

     "Good." He said touching Minji's hair. He shifts his gaze to Joy and asked her too, "H-how about you?"

     "I'm good." She briefly answered then held Minji's hand and started to walk again avoiding his eyes. What's happening to my heart?

     They finally reached the karaoke bar and came in the reserved room for them.

     The party lights welcomed them when they entered the room. Inside is a huge U-shaped soft cottoned gamosa sofa that occupies almost the half of the room. There are also two microphones above the center table and there are musical props, costumes and wigs at the front of the karaoke that they can use.

     Joy started the singing session to lighten up the mood with the theme song of pororo that made Minji dance and sing along too. After that song Jungkook entered a nursery rhyme and it was followed by another five songs for kids. They all sang to it as their warm-up before reaching the next level of fun and it really hyped them all.

     "This is the highlight of today's show!" Joy said running in front of the karaoke and grabbing three wigs for all of them. I'll start my plan, "Minji! Choose your color." She was so amazed by the unique colors of the wigs and wasn't able to choose immediately.

     "I think this one will look good on you." Joy said choosing for her lending the shoulder length brown wig. Minji accepts it and wears it in her head. Okay! Step one completed. Joy lends Jungkook the orange dreadlocks wig and she wears the purple afro one, entering the song chosen by Jungkook, "Bang Bang Bang" by BigBang. Joy clapped her hands while holding a microphone.
