You [Completed]

Prologue Part 3

     "What am I doing?!" question that keeps running in Jungkook's mind. "All I know right now is that I saw her fall that's why I'm here." he said in his mind while looking at her face. He end up too occupied while looking at her for a moment that; all he can hear is her heart beat, all he can see is her face and all he can feel is her body against his.

     "What are you waiting for? Let's go now!" Wendy snapped him out of his thoughts and brought him back to his senses. He realized that he still needs to save the girl in his arms.

     He ran fast but carefully as he goes to the lobby of the parking lot while carrying her. He wasn't aware on whom are all the people running too behind him but he can assure that all Joy's co-members were there. They'll use the elevator to go to the ground floor but unfortunately they all can't fit in there so they have no choice but to leave other's behind. They managed to ride the elevator including Red Velvet's members, Suho, Kai, Rap Monster, Jimin and three staffs from Mnet.

     Joy's body temperature is dropping, her sweats are dripping and her lips and skin are becoming pale. She was feeling cold, he knows because she was embracing herself with her right hand and her left hand was tightly grabbing his clothe at his back. "Can you fix my coat up to her shoulder?" Jungkook asked Wendy who was beside him. Without any hesitation she did. Joy held his peacoat tightly and puts the collar bellow her chin.

     "You need help?" a staff asked Jungkook in concern. "No, I can handle." Then the staff shifts to Red Velvet, "You should have refrained her on attending." He said brushing his hair up in annoyance. "It's my fault. I'm sorry." Irene lowered her head forcing not to tear up. "Unnie, it's not true." Seulgi said as she places her chin on Irene's shoulder and give her a hug. "Are you really here to help or just looking for someone to blame?" Kai asked in disbelief for that staff's attitude. 

     "I was just saying the truth; they could have had avoided this incident if they look on the possibilities of their action." The staff said with an exasperate expression. Kai seems to be so pissed but Suho stopped him in creating a fight inside the elevator. "If I know, your company will be suing us for not taking complete action in this situation when everyone knows that the artist is at fault." the staff murmured then smirked not making the atmosphere better. 

     "What's your name?" Rap Monster asked the staff but he didn't answer so the two other staff did since they are both getting irritated too on his behavior. "He's Gehyung, an audio engineer."

      The elevator's door opened and everyone is stepping out one by one. Rap Monster stopped Gehyung from getting out of the elevator. Rap Monster grabbed his arms and pushed him at the steel wall of the elevator, "let's go to your department." He said to Gehyung. As everyone stepped out, he presses the button to go up. "Don't worry I'm not from SM, I won't sue you." He paused, "You'll just be a nuisance there. I actually get your point yet you should have treated them nicely since you don't know the whole story behind Joy's blacking out." The elevator continues to go up while the people on the parking lot are still running to their destination. A media followed them trying to take pictures of what is happening so Suho, Kai, Jimin and the two staff initiate to stop the media on taking pictures as Jungkook and Red Velvet continues to run on the lobby.

     An ambulance came in a speed of a light. Jungkook places Joy in the wheeled stretcher carefully who is still holding his coat tightly covering her up. Joy opens her eyes slightly seeing silhouette of her members and a man running pushing the stretcher she was on. The paramedic's are moving the stretcher when suddenly Joy grabbed Jungkook's hand with the thought that it was one of her unnie's hands. "Mianhae" Jungkook is so flustered and thought of letting go of Joy's hand on his but she tightens it, "Mianhaeyo." She said as a tear starts to fall from her eyes. "Be strong Joy." Irene said as they run with the paramedics pushing the stretcher to the ambulance. Jungkook is aware that those words were meant for her members but it makes his heart ache too seeing her condition.

     As soon as Irene said that, Joy let go of Jungkook's hand. The managers arrived together with V and Minho in the parking lot before the ambulance's door closes. The managers rode the ambulance together with Red velvet while V and Minho tried to help stop the media on taking pictures and Jungkook was left there standing staring at the passing speedy ambulance still feeling the warmth of Joy's hands in his. He was still thinking on why he did such things and why did he respond so quickly. It was as if he's not in-control of his body.

      He still doesn't know what really had happened and no one can explain it by now but he can make sure that no one wants this to happen and it's no one's fault— not even Joy's.
