Chapter 23

I waited for Ray at the outside of the apartment complex, my hair blowing in the wind as I waited.

"You're fast in them." Ray said out of breath.

"I know, I can't believe you ran after me." I laughed.

"Now, no more heelying away, you don't know where my apartment is, and I don't want Gavin on my back for loosing his sister." Ray said, holding out his hand which I took without any hesitation. I walked along side Ray all the way to his apartment. "Here we are." Ray said playing around with his keys in the lock before the door opened. I walked inside of his apartment and took my heelys off. I left them by the door and then adventured in further. His apartment was small, but not to small, it was like the perfect size for him. The kitchen was right when you walk in and then the living room was behind the kitchen. "Come and sit down." Ray said patting the sofa. I sat down on the sofa and Ray handed me his spare controller.

"I haven't played TitanFall before." I told him.

"Don't worry, it's like any other first person shooter game." He informed me. Ray told me the controls and then we started playing the game type attrition. On my third round I came first out of me time.

"Tippy toppers." I said smiling, I was pretty proud of myself.

"Well, you wanna the variety pack, it's basically all of the game types put together?" Ray asked.

"Yeah, that sounds ace." I smiled. After a couple of rounds of the game mode, we got to a map that I couldn't really find a good sniping spot. "Eurghhhh, where are the good sniping spots!" I exclaimed. Ray put his controller down and then put his arm around me and placed his hands on top of murine that were on the controller.

"Here." Ray whispered into my ear sending chills up my spine. Ray guided my thumbs with his as he took me to the sniping spot. He got me there.

"Thanks." I said smiling at him like a numbnut. He leaned in and so did I. His lips met mine and I felt the same fire shoot through my body, but this time no one could interrupt us. I put the controller down as Ray put his hands around my waist, forcing us closer. I put my arms around his neck forcing us even more closer. I must admit that I was loving every minute of this. We pulled away gasping for air, and red faced. Ray picked up his controller and laid on his couch in the corner, playing the game intently. I picked my controller up as well, and then I rested my head on his chest. I never knew you could fall this fast for someone, well that was until I met Ray.
