Chapter 97

"I'm pregnant, three months, three weeks and five days pregnant." I answered.
"What!" Gavin's eyes went wide. "How dare he leave you when you're pregnant."
"He doesn't know." I defended Ray. "I haven't told him yet."
"Well I'm going to find him and bring him back here." Gavin proclaimed.
"Okay, please get him back here as soon as possible so I can clear up this mess." I begged.
"I will Jess, I promise." Gavin said before leaving. I sat down in the couch, head in my hands. What am I going to do if Ray won't come back. How do I tell him that I'm expecting another child. I know that he's always wanted another child, but I do not think he would want another so soon. I looked at my phone to see if Ray had text or called, which he hadn't. I sighed out in desperation, waiting, hoping that Ray would come back to me. I waited for what felt like forever. I heard a knock on the door and then sprung out of my seat and bounded to the door. I opened it up and saw a soaking wet Gavin and Ray, as it had been raining.
"Ray!" I exclaimed as I hugged him tightly, never wanting to let go.
"Well I'll be on my way, as you have some explaining to do Jess." Gavin announced. I let go of Ray and looked over at Gavin.
"Thank you." I smiled, and with that Gavin left. I took Ray back inside and kissed him.
"Explaining?" He asked as I pulled away.
"You may want to sit down for this." I told him as we walked into the living room. Ray sat down on the leather sofa and I stood in front of him. "I'm pregnant." I blurted out.
"What." Ray said in disbelief.
"Please don't be angry." I winced. Ray stood up and engulfed me into a giant hug.
"Angry? Why would I be angry? This is great!" He said excitedly. "How far along are you?" He asked.
"Three months, three weeks and five days." I answered, which caused Rays eyes to go wide.
"Well we need to book a scan right away, and tell Storm, and our family's and-"
"Ray." I cut him off. "Calm down, we can book a scan tomorrow, and do all of that other stuff in a few weeks." I told him to which he smiled.
"I'm sorry, I'm just so excited to be a father again."
"As I am to be a mother."
