I was awoken by Lloyd pawing at my face softly, meowing happily as he did so. I grabbed him and lifted him into the air.
"Lloyd, whys you wake me up, you little pleby cat." I cooed at him, planting a couple of soft kisses on his fur.
"Jess." I heard Ray yawn next to me.
"Lloyd, meet Ray!" I smiled, placing Lloyd on Rays head. Ray just laughed as he picked Lloyd up. Lloyd began purring and looking at me.
"He wants his mummy." I took Lloyd off of Ray and then I cradled Lloyd like a baby. Ray laughed and then stood up out of my bed. Ray started walking towards the door before I stopped him.
"You can't go downstairs to my parents like that." I told Ray, pointing at him in only his boxers.
"I knew that." Ray said, quickly tossing on a shirt and a some jeans. I saw him shiver a little so I handed him my black hoodie which he put on over the top of his top. I laughed as it was far too small for him. I quickly put on a pink hoodie as I had slept in my pajamas, well if you count one of Rays t-shirts and some shorts as pajamas that is. We went downstairs to where my mum and dad were sitting at the table. I was sad that it was my last day here in England before I went back to Austin, but I was happy that Ray had met my parents and were comfortable around them.
"Dad popped out to the shops and bought some crumpets this morning." My mum told me, causing me to smile.
"What are crumpets?" Ray asked, putting on a confused face.
"I'll get you some, then you'll know." I told Ray. I put four crumpets in the toaster, two for me, and two for Ray. Once the had finished toasting, I buttered them and then handed a plate to Ray. We went into the front room, but my parents stayed in the kitchen. Me and Ray watched some antiques roadshow, being the boring person I was, I made him watch it. Ray thoroughly enjoyed the crumpets, well that's what I think since he ate all of them, or was too polite to say that he didn't like them.
"Jess, Ray, you better get your suitcases, your flight leaves in two hours." My dad called from the kitchen.
"Okay." I called back. Me and Ray showered and got changed, then we took our suitcases down into my hallway. My mum and dad drove me and Ray to the airport.

Rays POV

Me and Jess got put of her parents car before I felt a slight tug on my left arm. I turned round to see her dad grasping my arm slightly.
"You're all she really has in Austin. Gavin told me about what happened, and he knows that you two don't really get on that much, but pretend to for Jess' sake, please keep it that way." Her dad told me and I nodded, "she loves you Ray, more than anything I've seen her love before, more than anyone." He continued and I couldn't help but smile, "and don't you dare hurt her." Her dad finished.
