We sat at the table for a little while, chatting back and forth until Ellen mentions John. "He wouldn't have sent you if... he didn't send you." Ellen realises. All three of us kind of shuffle about and look at each other. "He's alright, isn't he?" She asks, slightly more concerned this time. "Uh... No" I say, giving the answer that nobody wanted to say, or hear.
"He isn't. It was the demon, we think. It, um, it just got him before he got it, I guess" Sam replied twiddling with his thumbs. "I'm so sorry" Ellen replied, while Jo was sat silent. "It's okay. We're alright" Dean replied, seeming as though he wants the conversation changed. "Really? I know how close you and your dad were" She said again, pressing for him to show his true feelings. "Really, lady. I'm fine" He replied harshly. I put my hand on his knee and he looks towards me, I give him a slight smile and he pats my hand.
"So look, if you can help, we could use all the help we can get" Sam says trying to change the subject. "Well, we can't. But Ash will" Ellen replies. "Who's Ash?" I ask curiously. "Ash!" She yells and the man that we saw when we first came in jerked awake. "What? It closin' time?" He asks. "Thats Ash?" Sam asks. Jo and Ellen nod and slightly giggle at Ash being slightly confused at his surroundings.

After talking to Ash for a couple of minutes, me and Sam end up at one of the tables in the saloon while Dean was somewhere probably flirting with Ellen's daughter, Jo. Sam started reading some article from a newspaper about a couple that was murdered. "Dean! Come here" I yell when i see Dean walking out of one of the back rooms. "Yeah" he says as he grabs a beer and heads over. "A few murders, not far from here, that Ellen caught wind of. Looks to me like there might be a hunt" Sam says looking over the article clippings. "Yeah, so?" Dean replies taking a sip of his beer again, not looking fazed at all. "So... I told he we'd check it out" Sam replied. Dean sighed and carried on drinking his beer. "Yeah, alright just let me finish this at least ok?" He said. We both nod and Sam goes back to reading the article.
"I think its time for me to go back Sam" I say, looking over at him. "AJ..." He began. "Please. I will just be in the way. I came with you here" I replied. "Yeah, but AJ. This isn't what Bobby meant" He replies. I sigh and look at the article clippings. "Look" He starts, causing me to look up and make eye contact with me. "I'm not forcing you to come, OK? Go home if you want. I just know how much this means to Bobby and I'm not going to go behind his back and not try to at least prompt you to come, OK?". I lean back in my chair and take a swig of the beer bottle that I had set in front of me earlier. "Come if you want, or don't come and explain it to Bobby. But tell him I tried" Sam snaps and walks off to the bar with the clippings.
*
I knew what he was doing. He was getting into my head. Making me feel guilty about the fact I was disrespecting Bobby and wasting his time. And that's how I ended up on a road trip to go find some murderer. He was trying to get in my head, and I knew he was - but it still worked.
That goddamn boy.
So, we began on our road trip to wherever these murders are, Dean was driving, I was sat in the middle seat and Sam was sat by the window with his research in his lap. "Are you joking... a killer clown? those exist?!" I ask looking over Sam's shoulder. "Yeah. He left the daughter unharmed and killed the parents. Ripped them to pieces, actually." Sam replied nodding. I shake my head, knowing I was going to die tonight. "and this family was at some carnival that night?" Dean butted in. "Right, right. The, uh, Cooper Carnivals" Sam replies again. "I know what you're thinking, Sam. Why did it have to be clowns?" Dean snickered as he continued focusing on driving. "Oh, Give me a break" Sam replied slight annoyance in his tone. "Huh?" I reply confused.
"Little Sammy here still bursts out crying whenever he see's Ronald McDonald on the television" Dean says nudging my arm. I try to hold back the laughter but I couldn't "Oh my god" I say as I burst out laughing. "At least I'm not afraid of flying" Sam shoots backs. "You're afraid of flying!?" I say now almost screaming with laughter. "You guys are wimps". "Hey! Planes Crash!" Dean answers. "And apparantly clowns kill!" Sam replies, and I'm still in tears in the middle seat. "You guys crack me up". "You're not so tough either! What are you afraid of then?" Dean asks me. "You'll have to find out" I snicker. "Can't wait".
