Later that day, just as nightfall begins, we go to the bar not far from the motel and I walk off towards the women's toilets. As soon as I emerged back out, I made my way over towards the boys at the bar, standing between them both. "Barker farm got leased out a couple months ago. Real winners. They've been in here a lot - drinks. Noisy. I've had to 86 them once or twice" The guy replied, watching me. "Thanks" Dean says as we begin to leave. We make our way out into the car park, when Sam and Dean start looking at each other. Sam quickly pushes me behind him and we carry on walking. I was slightly confused until we hid behind some dumpsters, Sam making a gesture that I assume meant 'be quiet'. Sam and Dean then jump out on a man and pin him against the wall, me slowly following them at a reasonable distance. "Smile" Dean says. "What?" The man asked. "Show us those pearly whites" Dean replies. "Oh, for the love of -- you want to stick that thing someplace else? I'm not a vampire" The guy says, causing me to sigh with relief and Sam to frown. "Yeah, thats right. I heard you guys in there" He adds. Dean, Sam and the guy I now knew was named Gordon spoke for a little while, he took them over to his car to show them his weapons stashes behind the back seats. I stayed back a little, my mind wandering into daydreams. We soon left him, Gordon warning us to stay away and let him do his job. I hadn't know Sam and Dean very long, but I knew they wouldn't leave the case, not a chance. So we get in Dean's 'baby' and hit the road.
We pull up outside of a mill, and hear commotion going on inside. "Shit" Dean says, jumping out the car with me and Sam following. Sam handed me another small gun, despite being told that I couldn't kill the vampire with a gun. But we entered the barn to see, Gordon (the guy from earlier) laid below an electric saw, about the be decapitated. Dean rushes to attack the vampire as me and Sam reach for Gordon's feet and pull him to safety. Eventually, the vampire gets pinned in the exact place Morgan ones, Dean then pushed down the saw and decapitated him. I quickly turn and face into Sam, leaning against him and burying my head into his shoulder area. That was the first time I had seen an actual murder. Human or not, that will definitely scar someone. Sam rubs my back and I eventually turn back around, "So uh... I guess I gotta buy you that drink" Gordon exclaimed, still panting from what had just occurred.

We go back to the same bar that we were earlier that night, all sat around a circle table - me in between Sam and Dean. Dean and Gordon order some drinks from the shot girl and both toast to the vampire they just killed. "Dean" Gordon laughed, "You gave that big-ass fang one hell of a haircut, my friend". "Why thank-you" Dean replied, smirking. "That was beautiful. Absolutely beautiful" Gordon replied, lifting his beer towards Dean, as if to toast him again. "Yeah. You all right Sammy?" Dean asks, looking towards us. "I'm fine"He replied bluntly. "Well, lighten up a little, Sammy" Gordon laughs. "He's the only one who gets to call me that" Sam snaps. "Oh, come on, man. It's not like it was human. You've gotta have a little more fun with your job" Gordon said, a sad attempt at making Sam feel any better. "See? that's what I've been trying to tell him. You could learn a thing or two from this guy" Dean said. I almost immediately raised an eyebrow and scoffed, he had only met this dude a couple hours ago and we got told to leave, sounds like a great guy. "Yeah, I bet. Look. I don't want to bring you guys down, so I'm just going to go back to the motel" Sam says, standing up. "You sure?" Dean asks. Sam nods, and I join him standing up. "You know, I might go back too" I jump in. "Oh, why?" Dean asks. "I'm feeling queasy, first time and all" I shrug. Dean nods understandably. "Sammy? Remind me to beat that buzzkill out of you later, all right?" Dean laughs, tossing Sam the keys. "Only if I can beat the asshole out of you, later" I say, winking in Deans direction, causing him to roll his eyes and chuckle.
We make our way out of the bar and start walking to the motel. "You didn't have to come back with me" Sam said, breaking the silence. "I genuinely feel queasy. Don't worry" I reply. "If you want space, I don't mind going and finding another room?" I add onto the end of my last sentence. "No" he replies immediately, "Just didn't want you missing out... I'm glad you came though" He said. I could see the corners of his mouth turn up, into a smile through the darkness. "Me too, you're better company than that guy anyway" I smirk and nudge him. We unlock the motel room and walk in, Sam closing the door behind us. "What's wrong anyway?" I ask, sitting across from him at the table. "I... I know they're monsters...Bu...But something didn't feel quite right" Sam said, shaking his head. I reached my hand across the table and put my hand on top of his. "I know what I feel isn't really valid, because I've never witnessed anything like that, ever. But, I kind of felt the same" I replied. He turned his hand around under mine and *sort of* held hands on top of the table, causing my belly to flip into knots and my heart to race. Huh? "Doing stuff like that, it doesn't really get much easier. Especially when they still look human" He sighs. "I can imagine" I reply, still focusing on our hands. We were silent for a few minutes, a comfortable silence though.
"Did you see any soda machines outside?" I ask, breaking our hands apart and standing up. "I didn't see any, you want to go look?" He asked, folding the newspaper and standing up. "Yeah, but you don't have to come" I laugh and shrug. "I want to. It's dark and as much as you think you can protect yourself. With things like that still out there right now, I don't want anything to happen" He said, picking up the motel keys off the side. "Alright" I shrug, as we exit the motel room.
