Authors note: Just a quick one. Just wanted to let people know that this story will be following the seasons (started at the beginning of season 2). But I will skip some cases/episodes that don't fit or that I feel will be boring. If you have any suggestions, let me know. Thanks

I walked out of the bathroom in high-waisted jeans and a different baggy shirt tucked in. "Here" I say throwing Sam's top back to him, he quickly catches it and looks down. "Keep it" He says, throwing it back, "I told you, it suits you". I smile and nod, shoving it down into the bottom of my bag. "So, what are we doing?" I ask, sitting at the table with the brothers. "Nothing until a case comes up. I'm gonna go to the bar later, see if I can get a lady" Dean says, winking at the end. "Gross" I laugh. "Whatever" Dean exclaims. Sam began typing on his laptop. "You know, I might give Bobby a call" I say, standing up and picking up my phone from the bed where it was charged in. I made my way out the front door and walked over to a bench looking out into the parking lot.
After a couple of rings, Bobby's familiar voice beamed through the phone. "AJ? Everything OK?" He asked, seeming worried but also as if he was busy. "Yeah, I uh... Just missed you thats all" I said awkwardly. Me and Bobby very rarely said anything even remotely soppy. But I knew I had to tell him, I wanted to tell him. "I missed ya too. This house hasn't been this empty in ages" He laughed, loosening up slightly. "I bet" I chuckle, replying. "So how's it been going?" He asked. "Alright, I passed out multiple times yesterday but..." I said before being interrupted, "Why? What happened?!" Bobby asked worriedly. "You know I don't like seeing my own blood, and I saw it more than I wanted to yesterday" I laughed. "Are the boys looking after you?" He asks, I nod subconsciously. "Yes, definitely" I reply. "Oh good... Uh AJ, I have to go. I'll drop you a call soon, yeah?" He says. I smile, slightly disappointed. "Yeah, Love you" I say and pull the phone away from my ear, hanging up.
I make my way back to the room, opening the door to see the brothers were still in the same place. Sam was on his laptop, no doubt doing research, and Dean, well who knows what he was doing, it looked like doodling. "You guys should really get some rest" I say, sitting on the edge of the bed. "We're good" Dean replies for the both of them. "Come on, please" I beg, "how are you going to protect me while running on zero hours sleep?" I tease. "She's right Dean" Sam said, shutting his laptop. "I guess, ugh. I hate that" Dean said sighing. I laughed loudly. "I'll take the couch" Sam says. "Why?" I ask standing up. Sam gestures to the two double beds in the motel room. "Theres only two of them and three of us" He laughs. "I don't need to sleep, I've already slept for what? 5 hours. I can sit and chill on the couch" I say, moving my stuff off the bed. "Are you sure?" He asks, looking down at the ground. "Yeah" I reply, touching his arm and squeezing it as I passed him. I looked round to him to see him smiling and slightly blushing at the gesture, causing me to giggle. I walked over to the door and put the bolt across. I don't want to risk anything coming in while I'm awake and the boys are asleep. No way!

A few hours went by, 5 and a half to be exact, and the boys were just beginning to wake back up. "Afternoon" I say as I see Sam sit up and rub his head. "Sleep well?" I ask as Dean also sits up and swings his legs off the edge of the bed. "Was alright actually" Dean replies, walking off to the bathroom. "What did you do all this time?" Sam asked, grabbing a brush from the side table and running it through his hair. "I napped for about an hour, then just watched cable" I shrugged. He nodded and walked to the bathroom as Dean walked out in different clothes.
"Well, shall we go to the diner for some food?" Dean asks, putting his jacket on. I nod and get off the sofa, grabbing my jacket as well. Sam soon joins us and we leave towards the diner across the road.

"Hi, what can I get for you?" The waitress asks as we sit down in one of the booths, me and Dean on one side, Sam on the other. "I'll have a burger, large fries" Dean says, smiling up at the good-looking woman. "Me too" I reply, nudging him slightly and giggling to myself. "I'll have, uh, just a salad" Sam said. The woman nodded and walked away. "Salad?" I ask, slightly disgusted. Sam shrugged. "So, still nothing?" I ask, "Case wise". Sam shook his head. "Doesn't seem like much is going on, if I'm honest" Sam sighs. "Nothing at all?" Dean asks, seeming quite irritated. Sam shook his head. "I was uh, thinking we could go visit mom's grave" Sam said nervously. Dean stared at him for a moment, "Why would we do that" Dean asks as the waitress brings over our food. "Thanks" I quietly mutter as she passes me my food and a cup of soda. "Thanks" Sam says as she walks away. "It just... Seems like the right thing to do, with dad dying and all" Sam replied, tucking into his salad right after. I felt like I was not meant to be in this conversation. "Please Dean" Sam adds. Dean shrugs and begins on his burger. Awkward...

We finished our food and Dean paid the waitress. As we made our way back to the motel Dean interrupts the silence that formed between the three of us. "So, I'm going to head to the bar after I've showered". I nod in response "Sammy you coming?" Dean asks. "Sure, I guess" Sam replies. " AJ?" Dean says nudging me. "You know, as much as I like to watch you guys pull. I think I'm going to take a rain check" I giggle. "Your loss" Dean laughs. "Guess so, haha" I laugh. We walk into the motel room once again and Dean heads straight for bathroom to shower and I sit on the couch. "So, why do you want to skip on watching Dean fail" Sam asks as I sits down at the table across from the sofa. "Just not that interested in being hit on today" I say, switching the TV on. "Oh come on, who doesn't love a 40 year old drunk guy hitting on them" Sam says laughing, causing me to laugh too. "Maybe next time" I laugh. Sam shrugged and opened his laptop.
Dean soon emerged from the shower in some fresh clothes, "Ready Sammy?" he asked. Sam nodded, grabbing his jacket. "You sure you don't want to come?" Dean prods. I shake my head, "Thanks though" I answer and they both take off out the door. I pulled out my phone and began texting Cindy, trying to update her on what I had done so far, minus the monsters obviously. After 20 minutes of waiting, there was still no response from Cindy. So I decided to take a long bath, seen as I was going to be alone for awhile. I managed to find some bubble bath in one of the cupboards that the motel offered, it was probably awful but I had nothing else.
Sorry this is boring! x
