Candy's POV

It's been a busy week for me in the office. With Gab trying to get updates on what has been happening in the company before he became the CEO and implement a new system to improve the running of the company. He decided to acquire companies with financial difficulties that have possible growth in the future and also to expand the company to different part of the country. So there are many more paper works on the table.
Gab, have not been around for almost a week now. He as been traveling frequently for meetings and deals to make and close, I rarely see him in the office. we talk mostly my emails and on phone.
Despite his busy schedule he never fails to flirt with me at every chance he gets when he is around, surprisingly I like it. He got me flowers on my first day of working with him. He is so sexy when he is concentrating on his work, with is sleeves up and his necktie a little bit loose. I sometimes wish I could draw him close to me with his tie and give him a kiss. At the realization of what is running through my mind.
I gasped "OMG, I can't believe it, what am I thinking". I have changed a little since I met him, and feel drawn to him. "NOT HAPPENING" I warned myself. He sometimes he stays overnight in the office working. He is such a hardworking young man, which makes me want to know him more.
Exhausted for the day. I was getting ready to go home when I received a phone call from an unknown number.
"Hello, Candy speaking"
"Hello darling, this is Rebecca. How are you?"
Gabs Grandma, why is she calling. "I am fine thank you, I hope all is well, surprised receiving a call from you"
"All is good dear, I am just calling to invite you to dinner at my house. I will be expecting you. my driver will pick you up at 6 pm sharp" she speaks so fast that I was unable to reply her. she dropped the call before I can refuse her invitation.
" I guess I will be going" I signed.
I looked at the time and I just have 1hrs to get home, have a quick shower and dress for the dinner. I take a cab instead of my usual bus to get home fast. I had a quick shower and decided to put on my Pink Brocade Swing Dress, put my hair down with light makeup and I am ready to be picked up. The driver was at my door at 6 pm sharp. When we go to the Smith's mansion, Rebecca is at the door waiting for me. Immediately she saw me. She has this beautiful smile that made me feel welcome and hugged me like no tomorrow.
"Hi, been a while, so good to see you again dear"
" And you too" I replied
" So happy to have you around for dinner"
" Well, I couldn't refuse you. right" I said smiling
She handed me a glass of wine and said "Honey make yourself comfortable. I will be in the kitchen to get the table ready"
"Okay, but I can help too"
"No, just stay here, you can look around. I just had my garden done, you can go and have a look you will love it, that's if you like flowers" she said and quickly left me standing at the passage.
I decided to go into the garden and was amazed at the sight before me, beautiful flowers with a large fountain just at the center of the garden.
"Breathtaking" I whispered. The air in the garden smells nice too. If this garden is mine I will be here every day. I just couldn't stop smiling as I looked around, the garden is mostly filled with different types of Roses and Sunflowers. "Wow, This is wonderful". I better leave now or I will be tempted to sit here all night admiring the garden. I turned around to leave the garden and then I saw him.
Gabriels POV:

I just got back from my journey tired and hungry. I quickly greet my grandma in the kitchen. she seems so happy today. She told me to change then come down to eat. I rushed to my room to have a quick shower, while I was dressing up. All I could think of is food. I looked through the window while dressing and I saw her. I could only see her back. Who is this pretty lady I thought, I back view looks beautiful. She finally turned, facing my window and I saw her face, my heart skips a beat. She is here. "Candy" I whispered.
I wore my clothes immediately and ran down to the garden. I stopped to have a good look at her. Her hair floating in the air. she looks magnificent in that dress. I have missed her so much. I was so eager to come back to see her.
I stand there looking at her when she turned around and then she saw me. It was like time stopped.
