Three months Later, Gab and I traveled to Spain for a business meeting to sign a contract with a client Mr. Santiago Mateo for a project coming up. We were able to sort thing out and sign the contract within a day of arriving in Spain.
We decided to spend the rest of the week together as a holiday since we were to spend one week in Spain. We went sight seeing, did some local shopping and I taste some of their finest cuisines.
It was fun to be on holiday with Gabriel, he showed me places since he had lived in Spain for a year. He was considerate of my naivety and laughed at my expression seeing some things for the first time. I was not surprised when he told me we will be staying at his private beach house. I mean what do you expect from a rich young man. When we got to the beach house in Alicante, it blew me away. The view was breathtaking and the house itself was epic.
Two nights to when we will be finally flying back home, Gab invited me to take a walk with him to the beach. We held hands as we walk and felt the cool breeze of the night with the sound of the sea waves. The night was cool with the stars twinkling in the sky. It was beautiful.
"Walking with you under the star, along the beach is a dream come true" I whispered to Gab, looking at him adorably. Sometimes I can't believe that he is all mine.
"Me too love" He answered
"I am glad I met you," I said and rest my head on his arm as we walk. He brought his arms around me to hold me close to himself.
"I have a surprise for you," Gab suddenly confessed. I felt butterfly in my stomach and felt so happy at the same time. I began to wonder what the surprise might be.
"You will have to close your eyes now and trust me. Don't open till I say so." he held my hand and begin to guide me from falling as he leads me to where the surprise was.
"Okay, I have always trusted you" this is exciting.
Gab dropped my hands and could sense him leaving my side.
"Now open your eyes," Gab said
There was light everywhere. I looked around, it was beautiful. There was beaming light on the part that leads to a white tent beautifully made and a table beautifully arranged just outside the tent, a chef standing beside the table reading to serve us dinner. I left my mouth opened trying to process what I was seeing, Spectacular.
"Oh my God" I screamed with joy. So romantic.
I followed the light walking towards Gabriel, he was standing beside the table with a bunch of red roses, smiling at me. I was so happy that I ran towards him, jumped on him to hugged and kissed him at the same time.
"Wow, take it easy angel" he was laughing out loud "Candy, this is for you" he gave me the roses and then kissed me.
"They are beautiful Gab, Thank you" he pulled a chair for me to sit down.
"When did you arranged for all this Gab?" I asked. He was with me throughout the day.
He just shrugged his shoulder and said "Anything for my baby" winking at me
We were served our meal and the chef left us to our meal as soon as he finished setting the table. The food was so delicious. I loved it.
Gabriel kept looking at me intensely and he somehow looks nervous I think.
"Why are you looking at me like that, Gab?" I asked
He stood up and walked towards me, held my hand, knelt down with one of his legs bent. I gasp with my hand on my mouth. "Oh my god!!! Gab, What are you doing?" I stuttered
"Candy, I fell in love with you the day I saw you. I want to spend the rest of my life with you, loving you, making you happy. I want to share every moment, dream with you, be the mother of my children and the only queen of my heart. promise to love you every day. I don't want to live another day without you, Please marry me". he asked looking at me nervously
Oh my god, what am I going to do? I really want to say yes but I don't know if I am ready. What should I do? I love this man with every fiber of my being. I also want to spend the rest of my life. But I kept asking myself if I was ready why looking into the eyes of the man I love. I was battling with myself.
"Please say yes"
