The shareholders meeting was a success and a deal was signed between J Smith Enterprise and the international company. We were all happy with our accomplishments and celebrate in the office with a bottle of champagne. Since Gab took over the company, there has been major changes, expansion, and success of the company.
Gabriel invited me to his office after work. "Hey Candy, thanks for your hard work. Won't be able to accomplish all this without your help".
"Am glad I helped, that is what am paid to do" I replied with a smile.
Gab looks so worn out. He needs to rest and sleep. I care about him so dearly and really don't want him to break down. Oh my god " I love him" I gasp, immediately covered my mouth. Gab heard me talking and asked what I was saying and I look so white. " nothing" I replied.
"Okay, remember you owe me one? It's time I claim it. Am inviting you to dinner"
"Okay" surprised at my own reply. Didn't even think twice
"That's easier than I thought. Let me get my jacket and we will be on our way. What do you think about Italian food" he asked
" Love it"
"Hmmm, how about loving me" he winked
"Gab, you sound so cheesy," I said rolling my eyes.
We got into the car and we chat about the success of the day. We laughed all our stress away making fun of some of the incidents that happened. At the restaurant, I couldn't stop admiring the whole view. I must confess it's so nice, well finished, high class with beautiful interior decor. We were led to our table and I was still gawking at the whole place.
"You like it?"
"Yes" I whispered
After placing our order, I looked up and noticed Gab has been looking at me the whole time. I became shy at his intense look, and look down at my hand. "Look at me, Candy, "
"Why" I shyly asked with my heart fluttering
"Please" I hate it when he says please, it's brings down my guard. I looked up at him. " Have I ever told you that you have the most beautiful eyes, so lovely"
"Thanks, and please stop with the flattered Gab" I shyly answered
"How can I stop, when you are in front of me with those sexy eyes looking deep into my soul. I want to kiss you over the table now" I gasped at his declaration and bit my lips. " I want to make love to you". At that moment, I also want what he wanted. He looks ravishing with is sleeves rolled up and hand on the table. His hands, muscles, I want to touch them. I looked up and our eyes met, all I could see in his eyes is love and lust. I held my breath for a minute. He really knows how to push my buttons. We were like that till the waiter interrupted us with our food and the magic disappeared.
We eat our food in silent, but I noticed Gab not eating quite well and he looks pale. "Are you okay?"
"Yes," but he doesn't look okay. We finished our meal, paid and was at the car park when I noticed Gab wobbled. I ran to support him,
"Gab, what is wrong, your body is warm" I led him straight to the passenger's seat
"I don't feel good he managed to say"
"Why didn't you say something, since when have you been feeling sick" I took the key from him to drive him home.
"Since yesterday, and I didn't want to miss dinner with you" he looked at me "Am sorry"
"It's okay Gab, just relax, I will take you home" We stopped few times for him to throw up. I had to help him to his room. His grandparents are not around, they went on holiday. I asked one of the maids to help call the family doctor.
The family doctor came to check on him, placed him on him drip "he needs to rest for few days, I think he as been stressing himself and he is dehydrated" he explained "wipe him with a cold towel to bring down his temperature too. The drip will help too, but its just to make it a little faster. He should be okay by tomorrow. If you have any concerns, have the maids call me"
"Okay, thank you". The doctor left. I decided not to go home. He has been sleeping for a while now. He looks handsome sleeping peacefully. I touched his forehead to check his temperature and then tempted to touch his eyes down to his lips.
I came to realize while looking at him on the bed that I may have liked him for long now. I bend down and kiss him on his lips. " Goodnight handsome" I whispered to his ears. Too tired I pulled a chair beside his bed to sit, with my head on the bed and slept off too.
