Candy's POV

So tired, I decided to spend my weekend in bed and to watch one of my favorite tv series Two Broke Girls, those girls crack me up. After coming back from Gabriel's house I went straight to have a nice hot bath. My body aches from sleepless night taking care of Gabriel. I hope he feels better when he wakes up this morning, he really needs to take it easy at work after his short break. I worry about him. I went to bed after my bath and woke up feeling better after four hours of sleep.
Instead of cooking, I ordered for Chinese food and started watching my favorite tv series of the day, while I wait for my order. Minutes later I heard my doorbell. My order is here, I jump for joy, been a while I eat Chinese. I opened the door and the person I see is "Gabriel" I partly screamed. "What are you doing here, you should be in bed resting"
"Will you let me in?" he asked
"Sorry, come in," I said still looking confused to see him. I just left him this morning. I really wanted time alone this weekend. "huff" I signed as I close the door. He looked around as he walked through my passage to my living room. This is the first time he Will be in my house. Looking at him standing in my living room, he does not look like someone who has been bed ridden for almost two days.
"Your house decor is simple, beautiful and homey.I like it" he compliments
"Thanks. Why are you here and not in bed?" I asked
"I was bored just lying on the bed" He turned to look at me "I miss you, wanted to see you," he said, walking over to me, holding my waist to himself, with his eyes not leaving me. I jump at his touch and it was like I was entranced with his eyes not leaving me. He was leaning toward me for a kiss when I heard the doorbell. I jumped, releasing myself from his embrace and ran to the door. I took a deep breath. smoothing my hair before opening the door to collect my order. My heart is beating fast as I walk back towards the living room.
"I ordered Chinese eat. Do you want to join me" I asked
"Yes, of course. I need to eat something. So hungry" He took the bag from me and place it on the table. He tried opening the plates in the bag when I slap his hand away from it. "No Mr, go and wash your hands first," I told him trying not to laugh at his facial expression.
"Okay, mummy" he grumbles like a baby.
We enjoyed our food and I must admit it is fun eating with someone else. Gabriel made some jokes and I couldn't stop laughing. We sat down together on the three sitter chair, with his hand on my shoulder, while we watched tv. Truth be told, I loved it. By the time we finished the movie it was dark outside already. I look at the time and it's already 9 pm. He should go home now. But I really don't want him to.
"Gab, when are you going home?" I asked.
"You don't want me around anymore?" he answered looking at me like a lost puppy
"No not that. It's just that it's late already"
"I know, can I stay a little longer?"
"Okay, I am going to make myself a smoothie. Do you want a cup for yourself? I will be using banana, strawberry, yogurt, and pears" I smile after telling him my ingredients. I love taking my fruit mix every now and then, It's healthy. Doesn't matter if its late in the night.
" I don't mind a cup Sweetheart"
"Okay, I will be right back".
