DAY 16:

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته

ربي اشرح لي صدري و يسر لي أمري...

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

Day 16! The beginning of the next 15 days to complete this month. May Allah accept from us our ibaadah. Ameen.

Dhikr of the Day:

1.

O our Lord! grant us in our wives and our offspring the joy of our eyes, and make us guides to those who guard (against evil).

Rabbana hab lana min azwajina wa dhuriyatina qurrata a3yun waj3alna lilmutaqeena imaama.

2.

رَبِّ اجْعَلْنِي مُقِيمَ الصَّلَاةِ وَمِن ذُرِّيَّتِي رَبَّنَا وَتَقَبَّلْ دُعَاءِ

My Lord! make me keep up prayer and from my offspring (too), O our Lord, and accept my prayer.

Raby ij3alny muqeema salati wa min dhurriyaty Rabbana wa taqabal du3aa.

We all yearn to have the following in this life :

A righteous life partner or a righteous child or a righteous grandchild.

Those married may want a child, those not married may want a righteous spouse, those married and have children would like to witness their grandchildren grow and call them Jaddi wa Jaddati (Grandma and Grandpa).

In spite of all these needs that we want, have you taken the necessary steps towards acquiring it? Did you ask the One Whose doors of rahma (mercy) are always open, telling you, "Call upon Me and I will answer your call..."?

If not, then snap out of it! Don't expect miracles to happen (although some do happen, someone else's fate isn't yours). Take the first step and that is reciting the duas we wrote above.

Make these du'as very often, daily if you can. Many parents complain about their kids doing this and that, not having respect,  not praying, disobeying, etc. Subhan Allah! May Allah guide the Muslim offspring of this ummah...

Look at how beautiful this du'a is:

رَبِّ اجْعَلْنِي مُقِيمَ الصَّلَاةِ وَمِن ذُرِّيَّتِي رَبَّنَا وَتَقَبَّلْ دُعَاءِ

My Lord! make me keep up prayer and from my offspring (too), O our Lord, and accept my prayer.

Raby ij3alny muqeema salati wa min dhurriyaty Rabbana wa taqabal du3aa.

It doesn't say, "wa min awlaady" (and among my children). Allah uses the general word "dhuriyaty" (my offspring). It's asking Allah to bless you and your offspring (whom u might not even see).

Action of the Day:

Sujood is where you are the closest to Allah. The du'as you make in prostration are heard by the One Who is above the seven heavens.

What we will do today:

In your daily prolonged Sujood (if you don't prolong it, please do so):

2. Take time to sincerely ask Allah the above du'as.

3. Wait and see Allah's Help in acquiring your goals.

If He doesn't give it to you here, He will surely give it to in the Akhirah.

Finally, never lose hope in Allah. Sometimes Allah loves to hear you seek help from Him. Remember: The most tested ones are the most loved ones!

Smile; it's sunnah! Have a blessed day.

Jazakumillah khairan.
