DAY 28

Day 28!

Dhikr of the Day

حَسْبُنَا اللَّهُ سَيُؤْتِينَا اللَّهُ مِنْ فَضْلِهِ وَرَسُولُهُ إِنَّا إِلَى اللَّهِ رَاغِبُونَ

Hasbunaa Allahu sayoo'teenaa Allahu min fadhlihi warasooluhu innaa ilaa Allahi raaghiboon

Sufficient for us is Allah; Allah will give us of His bounty, and [so will] His Messenger; indeed, we are desirous toward Allah.

This is a Quranic du'a (Surah At-Tawbah) mentioned by Shaykh Ibn Baaz (may Allah have mercy on him). He stressed the importance of this du'a. Among the benefits of it, when said after the last tashahud and before the tasleem, is it makes anything that seemed difficult easy. Let's take advantage of it.

Action of the Day

Adhkar of the morning and evening:

Saying of tasbih, tahlil, istighfar and other adhkar which have certain numbers, some 3 times, some 33, and some 100.

Do you reach this set amount everyday? Some will reply in the negative, which is not surprising since some don't while others do (baaraka Allah feehim).

Let's see how we can make it easier for us attain all 100 repetitions of those adhkar which require it.

100 ÷ 5 prayers = 20

20 ÷ 5 fingers (Note: The Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم used to do adhkar using his Right hand; for more info go to:  https://islamqa.info/en/3009)= 4 times each finger.

To conclude, after each prayer read the adhkar you chose 20 times and using each finger of the right hand 4 times. In shaa Allah this is helpful for you.

Quality overcomes quantity. Check your sincerity as you're doing the dhikr and make sure you mean what you're saying.

Jazakumullah khairan. Baaraka Allah feekum.
