» Cliché Ship-Fics | 2 | "this, two, shall pass."

---

Let's talk about more cliché ship-fics, shall we? Well, I'm not really giving you an option, since I made this chapter anyways without anyone getting a say, so... but, actually, you could actually just press back and--

Anyways, I've been spending my time this week at school, and I used my free time to finish a project (yep, second day and we had a project already), so forgive me if this lacks comedy and crap ;u;

Now, let's get onto everyone's favorite clichés!

---

This is a cliché I see a lot, and it's the obligatory character death. No matter the character, a lot of fan fictions try to make their readers sob 'til they eventually doze off by killing off a character, whether it be Aaron or Garroth.

Sometimes, this can come off as a desperate attempt to get your readers to keep on reading and follow the fan fiction's story-line.

Katelyn's POV

"Laurance, you'll never leave me, right?" I sniffled, clutching his arm tightly as I let my tears stain his shirt. A soft gust of wind blew my hair to the side, as we both stood in silence.

"Of course. I'll always be here for you, my love," he muttered, stroking my powder blue hair. He held me tightly, as I felt the warmth of his body on mine. "Always..."

// insert obligatory five-year time skip //

Laurance and I were at an Aéropostale outlet somewhere off of the coast of Canada, which, totally doesn't exist. There is no such thing as equal marriage and Kinder eggs.

But then, a large army fighter jet flew into the outlet, and luckily, no one got hurt. But then, the jet directed its engine to the display of a bright red, rosy dress. The mannequin was burnt, as it toppled to the side, landing on my one true love.

"NO!" I screamed, as I felt my heart shatter, burning into flames as sadness enveloped my heart - with an angered glint in my eye. I couldn't make up my mind, nor my heart.

There's probably some stupid reason for their death, like the parents - that, or they have some sort of scenario that no one expected at all and was not even hinted once. For example; the first two chapters, they had a date - third chapter, guy was stabbed.

Maybe you should fix that there, buddy. I think there should be a normal way.

And, do they have to die young? Could you not have readers take a look into their future? When they're old?

The fandom says no because they wouldn't be hot anymore. But, it's still to be considered, nonetheless.

..

And if a character doesn't die, they get into a coma.

Or a comma - depends if the character can fit into a punctuation mark, and if the author is about ten years of age.

Aaron's POV

I held her hand tightly, a bright red on her flab. She looked so dull... so lifeless, as she laid on the hospital bed, surrounded by a table cloth.

She fell off of the shelves yesterday, and I couldn't bare to watch her suffer. I felt tears rim my eyes as I reminisced memories of us - together.

Tears dripped onto her red... her red book cover. She was a dictionary.

I'm sorry... I just had to do this ship.

If you're a reader that isn't aware of this ship, I suggest you read the "If Aphmau Characters Had Wattpad" series found on our profile; shameless self-promotion, that was.

But anyways, the coma and comma thing. Comas are, in my lackadaisical words, "prolonged sleep caused by something," and I'm too lazy to search that up, so yeh;

Commas are punctuation marks, people. You don't get 'in' punctuation marks, do you? I mean, women have periods, but--

The coma is usually out of the blue like their sudden death - there were no traces that lead to this; for example, the character could've been in accidents in the past, showing their arrogance, clumsiness, carelessness, etc.

It would've worked out that way.

..

And in the end, they probably wake up or are revived by magic - some, amazing magic. Like, man, we need to find that; we could probably cure cancer with it.

Katelyn's POV

Garroth and I were the last ones to leave Laurance's funeral; I was his wife, of course, and Garroth was his closest of friends - nothing more than that, obviously. They weren't dating behind my back.

But anyways, back to us crying, tears streamed down our faces as rain conveniently started to pour over us; Canada's weather is rather questionable.

As darkness reigned, a ray of light shone through the clouds. A blurred figure, a hot and sassylicious one, fell from the ground - in front of Laurance's grave he stood.

"W-Who are you?!" I screamed, pointing a figure at the ghostly figure. His translucent figure became opaque, forming a squeaky clean Laurance. I was speechless, "L-LAURANCE?!!"

I ran to him and embraced him tightly, as Garroth, too, hugged him.

"How are you alive!?"

"Because I'm vegetarian and am secretly a vampire... I want to suck your blood bleh bleh blehhhh..."

Don't forget to eat your vegetables, kids. A life-lesson from your TABC sister, Cathy. AKA, Mel, and Skylar are your lovely aunties.

And don't forget your grandmother, Julia :)

But anyways, we're going off on a tangent 'ere. Let's go back to our prime subject; the reasons they're back and well.

Apparently MyStreet has some sort of magic from MCD that allows everyone to live all well and dandy until the supposed plot-twist that will blow your socks off and kill your favorite character and also make your eyes pop out of your sockets and--

I think I've said enough.

The reason they're alive is because, either; there was so much love - or... MAGIC.

We're getting really Sleeping Beauty and Snow White here, people. Seeing that there's already two of them from the famous past, I don't think we need anymore, thank you.

Give them a reasonable reason to come back, or not make them come back at all. I'm pretty sure normal people don't come back from the dead and just continue to make out with their loved one,

---

That's all I have for now, youngens. Enjoy yer smol day.
