You can be strong in many ways. Emotionally mentally and physically. Just because you're not the best basketball player in your class, or the best at lifting weights doesn't mean you're not one of the strongest people anyone will ever meet. Someone who suffers from depression and anxiety is much stronger than someone who can play rugby really well anxiety is much stronger than someone who's really good at rugby. It takes a lot to carry a lot of mental stress and not break down all the time. Or at least not showing it. To be able to act like everything's OK.
Having a mental illness does not mean you are weak. Not crying in public does not mean there something wrong with you. A lot of people prefer to cry in the privacy of their bedrooms.
We are all strong. We are all facing something, and the fact that you're still here show something. That's not to say that people who commit suicide aren't strong as well. They just had to give up their battle because it was becoming overwhelming.
Like I said before we are strong. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. Just because they can't see it on the outside doesn't mean it's not there within. I want you all to keep fighting and stay strong. This goes out to all the people I know that are struggling or even if you feel like giving up on something.
Do not give up. I promise that one day you'll get through it all.
Hey guys, three poems in one day and pretty proud of myself. This idea just came to me while I was sitting in with my classes. Also I was able to do so much today because I have an actually been doing anything in school all day.
