To The parents who pressured their daughter, you never realized she suffered from severe depression. That's why she never talks to you anymore and she has serious trust issues. She feels as if she can't let anyone in anymore because they'll just betray her trust or take advantage of her silence and broken nature. She cries at night but puts on a mask when she's at school. Most people think everything's OK, but that's because they don't look into her eyes. They don't see what she faces. And they can't see the cuts on her thighs and wrists.
To the teacher that pressured that one student. They now feel as if they are worthless. You've made them feel as if they can't do anything right. They always try to do their best, no matter what. Even if it's killing them inside. It's not right to put that amount of stress on a teenager. It adds to the issues that they may be facing.
To that one friend who pressured they're best friend into doing stupid things. You've turned her into a reckless daredevil. The bad kind. The one who goes out drinking and comes back with a disgusting attitude. The one who no longer shows respect for her parents or her friends. The one who doesn't even know who they are anymore. The one who has done so much shit that nobody wants to no them anymore. They've most likely ruined their future. And it's all because you pressured them into doing that one stupid and really reckless thing.
Never let anyone pressure you into doing something you know you don't want to do. Don't let anyone try to change U. Giving into the pressure is only hurting yourself. The temporary popularity is it worth it. Stick with the friends that will always be there for you and would never make you do things that make you uncomfortable.
