(Officer Daniel's POV)

Today we got another missing child report. These have been surprisingly frequent throughout this month, there have been missing child reports almost every other day. This is the 132nd one. We've been telling parents that we will get a search party going ASAP and we have, we've been working non-stop and we've finally gotten a lead. We were asking almost everyone about the case and there was just one man who saw a van before the crime had taken place and, luckily, he did see the license plate number. We wrote down the information and took it back to the station. As soon as we got back, we put it back through the scanner and went to the building that the car was supposed to be. When I saw the building, I was struck with a sense of unease. It was an abandoned hospital that looks like it has seen better days, it looked like a setting from a horror film. It was rusty, old, and falling apart. It looked....dead. While we were all paying attention, there was a large thump that came from inside the building. I signaled my men to get their guns ready to shoot and we all aimed at the entrance. What came running out of the door surprised all of us. It was a little brown-haired girl that fit the description of the most recent missing person's report. She was about 3 feet tall and looked tattered up; she had so many stitches and bruises, and her feet looked bloodied. As soon as I recognized her, I told my men to lower their weapons. They obeyed and lowered their guns. I slowly started to walk over to her, all the while trying to be the least bit intimidating as possible. Once I was close enough, I spoke to her. "Don't worry little one, we aren't going to hurt you. Now can you come with us so we can take you back home?" After I said that, I waited for an answer from the small child, but she didn't do or say anything that showed that she understood me or even heard me. She looked like a zombie. She had pale skin and many cuts and bruises. It looked like she went through hell and back. Then I heard a tiny whisper from her, "YOU LET ME SUFFER." I didn't know if I heard her right so I just tilted my head to show her my confusion. Then I saw her lift her arms to about chest height, then I blinked. Her arms were now 2 samurai swords. I tried to process what I was seeing. Then, after a couple of seconds of trying to see if it was just my eyes playing tricks on me or something, but I soon realized it was real. I fumbled to get my gun. But before I could get it out of my belt, she kicked me in the stomach and stabbed me in the back. It hurt...a lot. After she stabbed me, she jumped off of my back to get the other men and the force made me fall face-first into the concrete. I heard my men scream in agony as I heard the sound of flesh being cut through and bodies hitting the floor. That's all I heard before I fell unconscious from blood loss.

(3rd person POV)

After the officers were able to sedate the girl, they sent a few officers into the building, looking for anyone that might still be inside. They found the other missing children. Some of them were fine, with only some stitches but others had passed away. All of the deceased patients had something in common; they're bones and organs were replaced with metal endoskeletons full of some sort of clue liquid. The scientists must have been trying to make a working cyborg. What were they planning on doing with them was unknown. They found another dead body and one man fighting to stay alive. He matched the description of the kidnapper so we took him into custody. He must have been the boss of this whole operation. Well, he seemed to have failed....or did he?
