Chapter 6

(Still Nita's POV)

I woke up with a start. I saw someone while I was asleep; a little girl, about my age. She looked...odd. She looked almost exactly like me. She just stood there, not saying anything, just staring at me with those eyes. They looked she was staring right into my soul. They looked somewhat....demonic. With those red pupils staring directly at me. When I woke up, I wasn't in the hospital bed anymore, nor was I restrained with those belts, though I did still have the marks from them. I was in a chair; A very uncomfortable metal chair that was in the middle of a white room with nothing else but me, the chair, and a mirror that I sat in front of. I didn't like it in here, I was all alone. I don't wanna be alone. I then got up and started to run around and look for an exit. Then I heard a voice behind me. "Hello...what are you doing?" I turned around, startled by the sudden voice. It was the girl in my dream. She was right behind me when I turned around, her face directly in front of mine. She was the same height as me and she had a little ponytail like I did but when I looked at her skin color it was a pinkish peach color. Her pupils were red but looked much kinder and less judgemental than they were in the dream. The rest of the color in her eyes were all black. She just stared at me and I started back with fear in my eyes, slightly trembling. I could tell that she noticed. "Don't worry I'm here to help you," she said with a kind smile. Oh no, I wasn't falling for this act again. I backed up and started running around the room frantically looking for an exit and banging on the walls. I wasn't going to stand there like last time, now that I could actually move and do something about it. I heard her sigh then she put a hand on my shoulder and turned me around to look at her. Once I was fully facing her I was expecting a fist to the face but, I was greeted with a...hug? When I felt her warm hug I just couldn't keep my composure and I broke down. When I started to cry, her grip only tightened and it became even softer. "Don't worry I won't hurt you. I will stay with you. No matter what, I'll be here to protect you." Then I heard a door open. I turned around and was suddenly picked up and dragged out of the room. I looked over to the girl and she was....floating over to me? "I told you I wasn't going to leave you," she said with a warm smile, "we'll get through this together." And she kept her word, she stayed with me.
