After SchoolZay'dira Larsen
"Gah, you serious?" Renee said as she picked out a bag of ships.
"As ever!" I sighed finally deciding on a Hot pickle and Lays potato chips. "It's not like I was doing hoodrat things, I was really coming from school late."
"I wanna do hoodrat things with my friends." Reema came from behind the other aisle and pouted.
I flipped her off, "Anyways , so I know partying is out the equation this weekend."
"As always. They need to lighten up, you only 16." Reema said as we made our way to the counter.
I nodded and sat my stuff on the counter for the man to ring up when Renee held a magazine in her hand.
" He going to be one rich motherfucker that hoes will try to trap him up." She said, looking at the magazine.
"That'll be $3.67." The lady behind the cash register said and I hand her the exact amount. I be trying to get rid of loose change not make get more just to lose it.
"Who that be like?" Reema asked going next to get rung up.
I peeped over Renee shoulder to see this boy about our age in a tuxedo. His beard neatly cut and his waves swimming even through the camera, with his little swirl cut design. You can tell he had a little hood in him by the way he smiled with bottom grills in his mouth.
The Headline was about him becoming The Next Young Multimillionaire. He was very handsome which was more ways than one to get the girls to hop all over you. But to be a rich, handsome young man is more than enough to have to lying about having your baby.
I shook my head as I read that he'll be taking on his father roles in the hotel business. "Nothing too exciting. He's a regular."
Reema squinted her eyes at me before looking herself as Renee paid for her stuff. "Well he's a rich regular. Whatever regular is to you, I'll take it for 200 Alex."
I laughed and pushed her, as we head out the store. She placed the magazine back and we head to my car. " He just isn't all that."
Renee mocked me, " A boy that is around our around and about his money? And not getting the illegal way? Isn't all that, you serious?"
"I think she been smoking them crack pipes at work Nee." Reema joked seriously.
I waved them off, backing out the driveway. "Yeah well, whatever. He probably stuck up anyway."
Thursday
At school"Y'all got this paper?" I asked as we entered the hallway to head to lunch.
"Nah. They know not to hand it to me, Ima clean dunk it in the trash." She replied back as we entered the lunch line.
"I fell asleep when they passed it out and left right on the side of the desk." Renee said grabbing her tray.
