Zay'dira Amyah Larsen
I found myself walking on the busy streets of Buckhead. You can hear the chatter of people that walked past, beeping of cars, and the smell of food from local restaurants also mixed with the nasty trash smell in certain spots.
"Thank you for shopping at AmyahHerHair Collection." I smiled as I tucked my hair behind my ear, entering my store.
You're probably wondering, why Amyah? Well I mean it is my middle name and it only make sense. Since, the purpose of using my middle name is because it's so close to the pronunciation of Admire. Admire her hair? And that's how AmyahHerHair Collection was thought about.
"Hey boss!" Gabby spoke aloud, as she came from the back room to the front to greet me.
"Hey Gabs." I gave her a little hug as she interacted with a few more customers before engaging in more conversation with me.
Gabby was the store manager. Honestly, I can't watch my store 24/7, the cameras can but who's going to sit behind a computer screen all day to do that? So when I'm running errands, Gabby is here. She's very hands on, and not one of those managers that will boss around and not pinch in, which is why I gave her the position.
"Aw man." A soft voice shouted, followed behind with a thud.
I walked towards the girl who also worked for me who went by the name of Tyler. Gabby shook her head as she let out a frustrated sigh, finishing up with the last customer.
"Get it together Tyler." Gabby scolded, before shaking her head.
I looked between the two and couldn't help but to notice the little tension. I ignored it, since it isn't my business. Long as it doesn't interfere with my business, but if it do it'll become my personal business.
"You ok?" I asked as I squat down at the girl who kneeled down frantically picking everything up.
"O-o-oh, Ms. Larsen I had no idea you were here. Oh my god, this is so embarrassing. But yes I'm fine. I'm just a little nervous and I just don't know how I tripped." She rambled, making me let out a little laugh.
She stopped her rambling and looked at me confused. "It's okay, chill girl. Not saying you could do this all the time, but breathe. You'll get better, but don't rush yourself."
She gave a faint smile and nodded, "Yeah, I was just trying to carry all this stuff."
I raised at eyebrow and noticed all the stuff she was carrying. It was over 50 lbs and she was at least 105 , since she was short and skinny. I shook my head, not getting why she was trying to carry something heavy than her.
