Aiyama slept peacefully that night. Still, her mind wondered what the next day would be like. She wanted to meet Shimura Akiko anyways. The freckles certainly made his features more intriguing.
As she gotten dressed, brushed her teeth and hair. She walked out of the room and into the kitchen to eat. Greeting Tobirama at the table who was reading... she coughed to get his attention which worked. He looked at her annoyedly and glared lightly seeing that she chuckled.
"I see you're up early." He rolled his eyes at the woman who laughed at him. She wondered if Hashirama was in the office or where Mito was.
"I would love to chat but I have to be somewhere." Aiyama left the house and immediately sensed two of them following her. She growled again... she wanted to be alone so she instead approached them.
"May I help you?" Aiyama glared at the two masked shinobi that were behind some house residence. Her movements were fast so they didn't actually see her approach.
"Hokage-sama ordered us to watch you." One said gaining her attention apprehensively. She lowered her gaze on him and snickered.
"Take me to my brother then," Aiyama ordered which they nodded nervously. She must talk to him about the problem with the village or else she wouldn't be able to live with herself in such a settlement.
The two nodded which she followed them towards the red building. Another guard stopped Aiyama from entering the room. He looked foreign and new. She wondered who he may be.
"I need to see my brother." She hissed but he shook his head from letting her enter. "He is in a meeting with the elders."
"Then that is perfect timing, let me in. Or else I will force my way in." The tension between them was uprising and heating. He rolled his orbs before opening the door. He was right, Hashirama and the six village elders were in the room.
"What brings you here to disrupt this meeting?" Tori asked sending a glare towards her direction.
"I want to discuss about the future of this village." Aiyama slammed her hands down on the table. Hashirama's mouth gaped open but no words were heard from him. Ameri growled at her interruption... but they let her speak anyways.
"Speak." Gurin held his hand up for her to talk. She tacit before finding her thoughts enter her mind once again.
"Do any of you actually know why we're fighting with Takigakure and other small forces?!" She shouted furiously seeing some of them scoff at her question.
"Of course we do! They are the ones wanting to tear us apart! They want nothing but redemption!" Renju shouted gaining everyone's unwanted attention this time. The meeting was turned from future finances to future wars.
"You're wrong. They are fighting for what's they believe in; justice and unity with other nations. The Daimyo is just playing this village under his wing. Later you'll regret everything once he gets what he wants." Aiyama's gaze was harsh and scathed. Toroshi gave her a disapproving glance at her words.
"He gives us funds to keep this village running. I don't see how he is using us." Toroshi looked at the others who were just mumbling words among each other.
"The blue lotus flowers have poison in it. This village supplies his palace and home village with thousands of them. Mysteriously many were found to have fallen ill and most die. If you want to support this, then go ahead. I will not be apart of this village if you do." Her fingernails almost dug into the wood as the elders were a little speechless.
"How would we know of this?" Ameri spoke up catching Aiyama's harsh stare. She inhaled sharply before talking once more.
"There are a lot of things that are kept secretive from us. Why else would these villages rebel? They don't like other villages such as the Leaf that takes orders from cowards. He wants to destroy Takigakure, Yumegakure and other villages that go against him." Aiyama tried to explain more and Hashirama was looking a little more curious. She was right although...
