Archie?

IM SO SORRY GUYS! I've been away for awhile. I've been dealing with school and some family illnesses. The only other story I was able to update on was my Gallavich but I'm back to this one. Sorry it's been so long! Hope you're enjoying!

Archie's POV

I sat in my room with my eyes staring straight ahead at the wall. It was already getting pretty dark outside. I haven't seen Jug for awhile, and it honestly made me sad.

"I called him 'pathetic'."

I told myself sadly and looked down at my coiled hands. Suddenly, a small beeping came from my phone. My hand reached across the bed for the phone from which I looked at my messages.

They were mostly from Betty, and surprising Reggie as well. I was confused as I read from the most recent messages to the older ones.

• Bro! Pick up ur phone!
• Something happened idk why!

It continued. I felt my heart race as I got closer to the top, and that's when I saw it.

• Jughead is just laying passed out here! He's out on the field! I found him like this! U need to come down here man and help me.

From those words, my heart sunk to my shoes as my whole face turned white. I looked at the messages from Betty who found out about this before me. She was saying she's driving down there and I should come with.

I didn't waste any time. My dad was still awake but faster than lighting, I had rushed down the stairs to the front door. I heard him yell at me from the kitchen, asking where I was going.

But I just ran out the door and didn't stop, I kept running to the school, my body shaking and my heart beating faster than light.

"Not again, not again!"

I said out loud. The noise echoed through the neighborhood as I continued to run.
