Let the Games Begin!

The second challenge in this contest is very important, but takes little to no time. It will not be a writing task, but a simple question-what direction will you go in the arena?

Challenge: Choosing a direction

You enter the arena, rising through the small glass tube. You look around to see where you will come out of, victorious, or that will be your deathbed. Each tribute has a different expression on their faces, some absolutely terrified, other focused and determined.

Looking to the north is the Cornucopia, filled with anything need to survive, or kill. Weapons and supplies that are needed sit there, untouched. If you choose that decision, you will face the horrific Bloodbath.

Opposite that is the south, is a savanna, or grassland. There aren't many trees, which makes it look peaceful and barren, which makes it seem like the safest option, but many dangers could be hidden behind the tall grasses.

To the east and west is a jungle. From a glance, each side looks almost identical, but what each conceals is much different. The east seems a bit darker than the west, but you hear the sound of much needed water...

As the timer counts down to the last few seconds, your decision is made.

Five...Four...Three...Two...One.

You take off from your pedestal, heading into the direction you chose. In the midst of it all, the Gamemaker speaks his infamous line everyone has heard a thousand times:

Let the Games begin, and may the odds be ever in your favor.

You will have 48 hours to comment the direction you wish to go in. One more reminder, I need to know all alliances if I have not already been told of before this first encounter.
