SECOND ENCOUNTER

Asher Lamping & Sophia Turnett

As the bombs underneath their feet ticks off with the timer, both Tributes jump off of their pedestals, making a dash for the East side of the jungle, away from the chaos of the Bloodbath.

As Sophia runs, she gets two knives thrown at her narrowly missing her. She finds them in the grass in front of her and runs off with her newly found weapons, trying to find her allies.

Asher runs off into the trees, trying to find the source of water. The foliage gets thicker and the light seems to dim around him as he travels through the jungle. He finds a waterfall, accompanied by a large pool of water. He stops to sit and rest after hours of traveling.

Sophia runs until she cannot run anymore, which happens to be near Asher. She stops and sees the boy alone.

What will happen next?
