Personality: Even though she is only thirteen she has been training all her life , she is a Johanna Mason jr , inside she is firey, determined and smart but on the outside she acts a weakling

Four skills: Plant smart, handles any weapon well, good actress (she'll need it ) low anything and hit dead centre from 30 ft

As soon I saw the light streaming though my window I knew it was reaping day the one day any normal person would dread, but not me. Let me introduce myself My name if Nikaya Johnson and I've been trained all my life for the hunger games, even though I'm only 13 you'd be surprised at how much power I have, anyway I get up from my bed and go into the kitchen to eat breakfast reaping only starts at eleven so I have loads of time, after my granola bar and banana I go upstairs to bathe. After having a bath I get ready in a plain innocent white cotton dress, brown ankle boot and my hair two plaits, when I get down stairs my mother and father greet me , I did have a brother Mike he was 2 years older than me and got reaped when he was 14 as you are guessing he didn't survive, he got down to the final 5 but then was killed by the district 12 girl so this year if I get reaped the district 12 girl is mine , I turn to my parents and say ' I gotta go' they nod their head they never come to the reaping their to scared to see if I get picked so I set on my way to the reaping, after my finger Is pricked then I make way to the 13 year old section where I see Fear mirrored on every single 13 year old

As the reaping starts I see our escort Petunia Winkleberry come on stage I think to my self 'seriously this is our escort' she was wearing all bright yellow, talk about being blinded she started my saying about how lucky we all are and now their is a special film cooking on , it's not special it the same one every year , once the 'special film' is finished she varies on by saying

"Ladies first"

She reaches her perfectly manicured khans into the bowl that contained all of the females in district 4 aged 12-18 and pulled out a white slip very dramatically from the bowl she walks over to the microphone and says loud and clear

"Nikaya Johnson"

I realise that was me straight away and walked confidently up to the stage with determination burning in my eyes she asked me what my name is

And I mentally scream 'you just read it!' But I repeat my name into the mic and then walkover  to the bowl she says

"Now for the boys"

She repeats the same action with what she did for the girls but read out the boys name

"Asher Lamping"

A tall gangly blonde hair dude walks up the stage and trips whilst getting up the stairs, I snigger but soon compose my self, then Petunia says the phrase I know to well

"Happy Hunger Games and may the odds be every in your favour"

Then I walk to the train seen as though my family would not come and then before I knew began my journey to the hunger games
