Powerful words come out of your mouth
That throw knives towards my heart
That makes everything go south
Tearing my soul deeper apart
You don't know words do damage
Words that play tricks on our minds
Words that cannot be bandaged
Words that make us go blind
Knives that are being thrown
Air knocked out of lungs
Heart that's being blown
Words that stay forever hung
Wounds that are being bled
Ears that can't take much more
Gun pointing towards my head
Leaving an eternity sore
