I pour myself a cup of coffee and walk into the living room and find Sophie, Klaus, and Rebekah talking about the dead witches in the bayou.

"Those witches tried to kill Skylar. I would prefer that Marcel's informant not find anything that would lead back to me, her, or you know, that." He states motioning to me.

"You are all class." I roll my eyes sarcastically. "Stay put. And save the rest of your story until I'm back." Klaus states to Sophie. I roll my eyes and walk back into the kitchen for some peace and quiet.

I then decide to change my clothes and go see Sophie, who left immediately after Klaus left.

As soon as I arrive, I spot Sophie shoving some bottles in her bag. I smile and she looks at me with a confused look. "Hey, what the hell?" Sophie asks.

"Your going out there anyway, aren't you? I want to go with you." I exclaim. "Nope, I don't think so. Already got told by Klaus this morning, don't need a repeat." Sophie states trying to walk past me.

I stop her and she shoots me a frustrated glare. "Or maybe whatever killed those witches is still out there. We've already established that it likes me and hates witches, so you'll be safer with me." I argue.

"Sorry if I'm not buying your sudden concern for my safety." She rolls her eyes and tries to walk again but I slam my hand against a stone wall blocking her path.

"Listen, the whole reason I came to this town in the first place was to learn more about my family. Your sister is the one that told me Marcel ran the werewolves out of the quarter and into the bayou. And I'm pretty sure some guardian angel wolf saved my life so I'm coming with you, try and stop a hormonal supernatural bitch." I exclaim.

"Could you two be anymore idiotic?" Rebekah asks from behind me. I turn on my heel and smile. "Two can play the follow game you know. You heard Klaus, he and Marcel are headed right for where your going."

"So distract him. Because unless you want to lock in a hormonal pregnant werewolf in a tomb, I'm coming with you. And wouldn't Elijah be mad if he hear the baby and I died of Asphyxiation?" I ask. They both roll their eyes and we set off for the bayou.

_____________

I walk through the woods beside the bayou with my hand on my flat stomach while Rebekah talks to Klaus.

"Your on again off again is on a spirit quest-" Rebekah starts but I cut her off with, "hey Klaus! How's your hillbilly bar?"

We continue to walk through the bayou, when Rebekah begins to ask Sophie some questions about the harvest that I simply tune out.

"We're here." I announce as we walk up to the bodies laying scattered across the ground.

I hold my stomach and feel the urge to throw up, but I hold it back. "Is that a wolf track?" Sophie asks. I nod and we look around as we hear a twig snap.

"Who's there?" Rebekah asks. Suddenly, a tall skinny man comes up and looks at us confusingly. "What the hell? An original." He states before speeding away.

Rebekah calls Klaus immediately and I walk a short distance away to avoid having to look at the slain bodies scattered amongst the ground.

I sit on a tree stump and hold my fist to my mouth and clench my eyes closed to try and hold back the aching in my stomach.

Suddenly, Sophie rests her hand on my shoulder and I look up and find us alone. "Where is Rebekah?" I ask. "She went to distract Marcel while Klaus compels Marcel's informant." Sophie explains.

"Well this is great, Klaus is going to rain hell when he sees me." I sigh and remain hunched over on the stump. Sophie kneels down beside me and looks at me confusingly. "But Klaus likes you, and you like him, right?" Sophie asks.

"No, it's complicated. He doesn't care about me, I'm just a walking incubator to him." I explain bitterly. "Well, I think you both like each other, but you both just don't want to admit it." Sophie voices.

I shake my head and look up. "We should go, its almost dark." I explain. She nods and we walk back to the car.

"Those people, all those people are dead because of a vision of my baby that you don't think is true?" I ask. "Look, I love Sabine, but she's the head of witch drama queens. Anything she sees- I just wish she would have kept her mouth shut." Sophie explains.

"The Harvest Ritual, you said you didn't believe in it." I state trying to get her to explain to give me some clarity.

"It's true, I saw it with my own eyes. It was working, it was real." Sophie explains. "So how can you be so sure that Sabines vision wasn't?" I ask. She remains silent and we get in the car to drive back to the plantation.

I walk up to the house and walk in to find Rebekah downing bourbon. "I don't care if we have to get you a leash, that was your last trip to the bayou. What is it with you and those wolves anyway?" Rebekah asks pouring another drink.

"I feel like we're connected somehow. I don't know, maybe it's just some pipe dream I have of any real family out there, but sometimes I feel like it's just me against the world." I explain.

She tries to hand me a drink and I raise an eyebrow and give her a confused look. "Oh right." She pulls away and downs the drink. I smile lightly and look down.

"Well, if you ask me, family is a pain in the behind. And how dare you? I don't ruin a perfectly good pair of boots traipsing through the bayou for just anyone." Rebekah smiles.

Just then, Klaus flings the door open and gives us a look. "Nik finally what-" Rebekah stops dead in her sentence when we see Elijah walk in.

She runs over to him and pulls him into an embrace. I hold my stomach and put on a fake smile to hide the sickness brewing inside me.

Elijah gives me a look and I walk out onto the balcony and lean over to vomit. I cover my mouth with my hand and jump when I see Elijah beside me.

"Don't sneak up on a pregnant woman." I smile. "My apologies. I trust my siblings were good to you while I was away." He states. I hum and begin to walk away, when I turn and my smile fades.

"Elijah, I've been hurt so many times by false promises. If your going to make a promise, make sure you keep it." I state before walking away.

I walk upstairs and sit in my bathroom feeling nauseous, but not throwing up. I walk downstairs and all I walk in on was the final word on the matter that they were discussing.

"Sophie Devereaux will fight to the death, this makes her more dangerous then anyone." Elijah states. I give everyone a worried look, before walking out to the porch to sit and clear my head.
