"Hayley, what's going on? Why are all these people standing out here all weird and lurky?" I ask quietly as the lines of wolves looking around.
"They've come from all over, all the packs." She explains. "Why? To see a baby that isn't even born yet?" I ask.
"Forget the baby," Oliver starts as he walks out from inside the cabin. "These freaks, they're coming to see you. You know, given the place your parents held in pack hierarchy, maybe they think you're gonna be the long lost werewolf messiah or something?" He smirks.
"Great, no pressure or anything." I shrug, taking a drink of my coffee.

"Sky, I need to talk to you." Hayley walks up to me. "What is it?" I ask. "Not here, let's walk." She instructs.
I nod, lifting myself from the chair I'd been sitting in and walking with her. She leads me to the wood line, and we begin walking through the woods.
"Ok, so there's a few things." She explains. "Alright, go for it." I urge. "I just, I saw the tension between you and Klaus last night." She starts. I just remain quiet, hoping she'll let go of it.
"Well, I just wanna know what's up with it." She explains. "Well, you see, were not exactly good for each other. Reality set in, and he got cozy with the witch bitches that tried to use me for their own gain, so nope, everything's great in that department." I groan.
"Sky," she stops me, turning me to face her. "It's ok to tell people your feelings, Klaus included." She reminds me. "Hayley, you don't understand; I never had this. I don't get people who love me, and listen to me. I get people who mentally and physically abuse me. I get people who leave me. That's all my life has been until I met Klaus." I shake my head and look away.
"Sky, you don't have to be that person anymore. You have me, the pack, hell even Klaus." She reminds me.
"I guess." I shrug, giving her a small smile. "Good, now another matter we need to discuss." She starts. "Oh god..." I drag on. "We need to go to a witch ceremony." She explains. "Great, now we're really in for one hell of a night." I groan.
_____________
A massive parade is being led down the streets as the witches make their grand entrance.
Once each three of the witches have shown their power, we make our way inside to present the witches their gifts.
The moment Elijah spots Hayley and I, He begins to make his way over. I give Hayley a wink, before walking toward the center of the room.
After a few moments, I spot one of Klaus' vampires watching me from the staircase above. I turn my head to face the witches, just as Genevieve begins her speech.
"Welcome. As is our time-honored tradition, you are all welcome to deliver your offerings. It is our custom that no one should be turned away, no blessing be denied." She stops, and each of the three harvest girls sit down. Hayley and I go up to offer our gifts first, Hayley leading and I following suit.
Hayley goes to set her gifts for Davina, when she is redirected to Monique. I, however, set mine in front of Davina with a full smile on my face, before making my way back to where we stand.
I watch as one by one, the gifts are given to every harvest girl but Davina. Eventually, she up and leaves, which who could blame her, and walks out of the room.
I watch as the gifts keep going, until I hear Klaus' voice.
"Ladies and gentlemen, may I have your attention, please. We are gathered here today to pay homage to our beloved witches, but one very special witch has been utterly ignored. That seems a little unfair to me." Klaus announces, handing Davina a small box.
"No, I don't want your gift." She shakes her head. "I understand why you would reject me, given our past. In truth, many of us here today have been wronged in the conflict which my brothers treaty ended. Your friend Josh was involved in a plot to kill me, it would be well within my right to execute him, here and now. But, in the spirit of solidarity, and for your favor, Davina, I hereby pardon him. Josh, from this day forward, you have nothing to fear from me. Please." Klaus tried to convince Davina to take the box.
Slowly, she takes it, and Klaus gives Genevieve an evil smirk, before everyone goes back to partying.
I begin wandering along the people, scoping things out, when I feel someone grasp my arm. I turn, and I'm met with Klaus.
"I hear you make quite an impression with the wolves. My arrangement with them was supposed to be a secret, and yet you forced it out of them. It's very bold." He admits. "Look, I have no clue what you are going on about, but kindly leave me alone." I roll my eyes.
"That's another thing," he stops me, looking me in the eyes with that goddamn look he gives. "I'm sorry, for yesterday. I would never hurt you. It's just, with all this treaty nonsense, it's getting to my head." He explains. "It's fine." I nod. "No, I need to know your ok." He shakes his head. "Klaus, I'm fine." I ensure.
"I just, i was hoping you could find the will to forgive me, so that it wouldn't be strange when I gave you your gift." He smiles. "I do forgive you, but what gift? I'm not a witch." I remind him with a playful smirk.
"You don't have to be a witch to receive gifts, love." He inquires, causing a light shade of pink to brush across my cheeks.
He hands me a box about the size of my hand, that is dark blue with a small ribbon on it. "Klaus, you didn't have to go buy me anything." I smile at him. "Just open it." He urges. I do as he says, and open the box to reveal a small emerald stone placed onto a silver chain.
"Klaus I- I love it!" I beam, wrapping my arms around him. "I knew you would." He states knowingly. "I pull away with a layer of pink across my cheeks. "You should probably get back before they start to wonder where you are. Those vampires are quite impatient." I smile.
"Right, I will see you later, Skylar." He states, before walking away. I smile to myself, placing the box into the pocket of my cardigan.
Just as I turn around, drums begin to play, and men in white suits make their way down the stairs.
"Happy Fete Des Benedictions. We have a message for all of you, from Marcel Gerard." The lead announces.
After that, they all pull out switch blades, and slit their wrists, causing the vampires to vamp out at the sight.
Elijah steps forward from Hayley's side, and to the front of the drummers. "Control yourselves. This is a vulgar trick. We do not violate our agreement." Elijah announces. Just then, the lights go out, and everyone begins screaming.
"Skylar!" I hear someone shout, but I can't see anything. I'm shoved to the floor by the people running away. I hit the floor hard, but not hard enough to cause any serious damage... at least I hope not. I just continue to stay down, hoping all of the screaming and growling will go away.
The lights are turned back on, and I just continue to lay here until I know it's safe.
I look up, and feel blood running from my forehead. "Klaus?" I look around, trying to find him. "Skylar, it's ok." He helps me up.
When we're both standing straight, we look to the wall, and in blood, it reads THERE WILL BE NO PEACE. We look to each other, and we both share the same concerned look.
