Flashback-

I arrive at the cemetery, to find it vacant. When I get out of the car, however, I find a necklace and note hanging on the bar, that was not there before when I've come here.

Instinctive, I pick it up, and see Kennedy inscribed into the cold metal. I grab them both, taking them and going back to my car. This note has all the answers, at least that's what the vision had said.

"Skylar, you really don't want to see him." Elijah explains. "Elijah, I am getting in there, I really don't give a shit right now." I protest. "You care about him." Elijah smiles.

"I just want to give him a play by play of what will happen if our daughter grows up without a father." I counter.

"Listen, I've removed the dagger. Now while your in there, be sure to snap him out of his daze and convince him to not kill his little sister." Elijah states. "If he gets out of hand, I'll kick his ass." I growl.

"Very well." Elijah chuckles, moving from in front of the door. I walk into the room, shutting the door behind me.

"Elijah, it is in your best interest to get out." Klaus rasps. "Hurt me and I'm sure Elijah is the least of your problems." I chuckle dryly. "Skylar, get out." He groans. "Huh, well that's not nice to say to someone who's here to provide blood." I counter. "Just give me the blood bag and get out." He exclaims.

"Fine." I huff, taking the small blade on the stand and sliding it across my wrist, holding it up to him. Hesitantly, he takes my wrist and gently bites down, drinking a bit before letting my arm go. "What are you doing?" He asks. "I'm helping you, a little." I shrug, cleaning my wrist off.

I feel him grasp my arm and our eyes lock together in a gaze. "Your the one person that means anything to me anymore, please, don't leave." He pleads. In this moment, Klaus Mikaelson is vulnerable, and I have no idea how to react.

"Klaus, I'd never betray you, I can promise you that much." I smile warmly. "What did I miss?" He asks. "Well, Elijah had to chose who to save. It was either you, Rebekah, or me." I explain. "What did you have to do with this?" He asks. "Celeste trapped me and my friend in a burning house." I explain and Klaus' eyes go dark with anger.

"I will kill them all." He growls. "Slow down, you're weak." I scold him as a mother would to her sick child.

"Did they hurt you?" He asks. "No, we're fine." I smile. "Good, now, you'll you mind getting me a shirt and my jacket?" He asks. "Sure." I state, walking to the dresser and pull out a simple button up shirt and his leather jacket.

He sits up slowly and I hand him the clothes. "You're lucky I'm pregnant," I start. He gives me a very confused look and I smirk. "Cause I'd roundhouse your ass for being this way." I finish and he chuckles.

"But seriously, Klaus, don't kill Rebekah. She is your sister." I state. "You know what treachery her and Marcel have committed to me." He states. "Yes, but I also know you love them both. Your sister and your best friend, you can't kill them." I try to reason with him as he lays back down.

"Skylar, you have no family, I don't expect you to understand." He fires back. "Listen, I might not know my real family- but your family, you are my family. If you hurt them, you hurt me." I reason. "I'd never intentionally hurt you, but they have done unspeakable things to me." Klaus states.

"They could be anywhere in the world, you'd never find them." I sigh at his stubbornness. "But love, there is only one place they can go." I look at him quizzically. "Home." He finishes, I instantly go cold, knowing he could be right.

I turn over and sit in a chair, flipping through the family tree bible I've been studying, when I notice Klaus trying to stand up.

I jump up and help him stand. "What part of 'you're weak' isn't registering?" I ask, holding him up. "I want blood without vervain." He states. "Just go back to bed." I roll my eyes. "If I had a dime for every time a woman's used that line on me-" he starts. "You'd be broke." I finish.

"Actually, I am proven to be quite the charmer." He smirks. "Please, no details." I shake my head. "What can I say, I love the opera." He states. "I shouldn't be surprised." I scoff. "I love the story, the forbidden love. A Romeo and Juliet of sorts." He explains. I remain quiet, trying to figure out what he was getting at.

"All is well until thousands are massacred and the father ends up killing his own child. The irony of it all." He states. I realize he's relating it to him and his father, so I step to his now standing figure and move around so I'm facing him, and I wrap my arms around him.

At first he's tense, but he soon returns the embrace, and I smile into his chest. We soon pull apart and he walks over to the table to pour a glass of bourbon. "You think that's gonna help?" I ask. "Don't know it doesn't." He replies. "At least it's not my blood." I mumble.

His phone goes off, and he checks it, looking back at me. "Well, I hate to be a know it all, but my sister and her lover have been spotted in town." Klaus states. He knocks a statue to the ground and pulls out the all to familiar white oak stake. "What the hell are you doing?" I ask. "Finishing what they started." He states before speeding out.

I race after him, stupid human speed. When I reach the door outside, I find him killing off some poor guy in the alley way. "If you kill Rebekah you'll never forgive yourself. It will make you no better then what Mikael tried to do." I state. "I've been called every shade of monster but that's new, Mikael was the monster monsters were afraid of." He explains.

"Come, I'll show you." He grasps my arm and leads me down the alley way.

Soon, were in front of some strange building I had yet to know. "Back in 1919 the cities opera house was burnt down, this, was my father at his worst." Klaus explains.

"Please, just don't kill your sister and Marcel." I plead, but instead of listening, he speeds away.

I sigh in defeat, trying to think of where he would have went.

I run as fast as my legs can carry me toward the cemetery. I pieced it together: Marcel and Rebekah would come back for Davina, a trap is set, Klaus loses his shit.

Sorry for the short chapters that are hardly interesting at all. I swear they will get better!
