"Where's Klaus?" Hayley asks as she goes through my sketch book. "He's in Mystic Falls on some sort of tropical getaway." I explain and look at the baby bump from under my shirt.
"Well, he should be showing more attention to his lover." She jokes and I roll my eyes. "I'm not his lover Hayley, were minor acquaintances." I shrug. "Yeah, acquaintances who just happen to sleep together on occasion." She raises her eyebrows.
"Hayley, come on it was two times." I roll my eyes and laugh. "You know, we should have a girls night." She brings up.
"Where are we gonna go? The bayou, the Quarter, there's like nowhere I can go." I state motioning to my stomach.
"Well, you could use some time away, I don't think it's good for you- being around vampires, witches, and hybrids all day everyday." She says.
"Maybe your right, but I say we go shopping for some maternity clothes, I mean, Klaus is killing me after I give birth, so I might as well live while I'm alive." I look down and pack up my clothes.
"What are you doing?" Hayley asks confused. "I'm packing up some of my stuff so either you or Rebekah can have it. I have no use for it when I'm dead." I state putting a tote of my clothes on my bed.
"I'll fix this, he won't kill you." She tries to reason. "Hayley, face it, I'm gonna die soon. It's practically inevitable." I shake my head and grab a piece of paper I'd arranged yesterday evening.
"I'm going to put this in Klaus' study, I'll be right back." I smile at her and leave the room. I walk down the corridors and right into someone. "Sorry-" I start but I'm then faced with Klaus.
"Good your back, we need to talk." I state sitting in a chair. "What about, love?" He asks. "This is my final request. I want a funeral in the forest, so I can be at full peace where the wolves run. Don't have to many people, but make a hell of a party out of it." I explain.
"Afterward, I want my room to be made into a nursery for the baby. I want a spell placed on it and Hayley is to be the only one who can invite people inside. No special guards inside that room, but there best be a hell of an army outside the room." I demand.
"What are you getting at, love?" He asks. "I want my baby to be loved, not feared or hated. And I want my death to be quick and painless. Just a quick snap to my neck and that's it. Hayley is to plan my funeral and I want my things to be split between Rebekah and Hayley. I've left notes for the baby, I trust she will get them." I narrow my eyes.
"Anything else?" He asks. "I want to be able to hold her at least once." I explain. "Well none of its happening, so you don't have to worry about it happening." Klaus retorts. I stand outraged. "Are you serious?" I ask.
"Are you? You really think I'm going to kill you?" Klaus asks. "Yeah, because that's what you said." I retort. "I never said that." He acquires. "Well I still assume I'm going to be lying dead." I shrug.
"Skylar, I'm not going to kill you. I would never hurt you." He smirks setting his hand on my shoulder before walking out.
"So he has a heart." I tease and he turns. "Don't make assumptions, love." He smirks and then walks out.
I walk past Davian's old room and find Hayley and Elijah going through Davian's drawings.
"Oh god, should I be worried about what's going down?" I ask. "Your on vampire lockdown." Hayley sums up. "Wonderful." I state and leave them to their talking to go sit in the courtyard.
Elijah walks down and looks to me worriedly. "Rebekah's not answering her calls." He states. "You worried about whoever killed those day walkers still being out there?" I ask curiously.
