*Hollow's POV*
"What took you so long?" My little sister questioned me with a mouth full of ramen, her big brown puppy eyes looked at me curiously. My mother slapped the back of her head at her lack of manners. As my sister whimpered, my mum stared at me suspiciously.
"Though she lacks manners, your sister is right. What did take you so long?" The demon of a mother eyed me.
"Oh I just have an angel passed out in my room." I sarcastically retorted as I took a seat aside the girl who ate like a starved dog, plopping a fair share of ramen into two separate bowls.
My mom slammed the pot of uncooked ramen on the stove with her back faced towards us. The air grew thick with tension as for once, I feared she would skin me alive and wear me as a nice scarf.
"Your father was slaughtered by one of those wretched creatures. If I dare see one inside this household, I will make your days in the underground a hell worse than the one we are living in." Mother ushered in silent rage.
I gulped down hard and turned to glance at my sister. Hound gave me the look that read 'well, you done it now,' She nodded her head to the hallway, silently telling me to skedaddle. I obliged without hesitation.
"Your mother sounds terrifying." The angel said with remorse while shuddering as I entered my boudoir. Seeing how my room was situated besides the kitchen, I understood how she heard my birth parent.
"She's not so bad once you get to know her." I grumbled as I handed the heavenly being a steaming bowl of ramen and a pair of chopsticks. I watched as she weakly began chewing on the soft noodles.
It was awkward as we both chomped on our noodles in silence, until I broke the silence with a simple question.
"What is your name?" I asked, more so demanded.
"My name is Spring." The teal haired female answered quietly. She was quite shy for an angel. Well, I mean, she just woke up in a stranger's bed after all.
