*Spring's POV*
Her cries steadily grew louder.
"Caretaker Winter! That's not how you change a diaper!" Spawn snapped as she and my brother hovered over the changing station nestled in a corner of my family's majestic living room furnished in beautiful velvet decorum and a surplus of baby toys.
"Like you could do any better you twit!" Winter shot back profusely as he fumbled to put the diaper around Jasper's legs without her kicking it off.
"You are going to make a terrible father!"
"You already are a terrible kid!"
"Only because I have to deal with you!"
"Both of you zip it and hand me my child." I had enough of their bickering as I heaved myself off the couch.
Spawn gently picked up little Jasper and was sure to support her head just like I taught her. I grasped my baby firmly, taking my position on the couch once more I cooed lovingly to my perfect baby girl.
She's got the same dark skin and black hair like her father, as well as the large doe brown eyes. The only difference between her and Hollow is the tiny silver wings poking out her back.
It's been a year since we've landed back in heaven and a year since I heard from Hollow, I know he has no interest in raising this child or staying committed to me.
Jasper was worth all the pain of heartbreak her father has done onto me, not only am I able to fly and have the most beautiful baby girl ever; Winter is closer to me more than he's ever been.
And Spawn is like another daughter to me, since the Ashburns found out my family had been the ones to save the child, our bond between families have grown together and we now have a strong alliance with one of the most powerful royal angel families.
"Mmmmmammm." Jasper gurgled happily as I gently rocked her, tiny dark hands grasping out for attention.
Ten year old Spawn gently plopped down on the vast leather couch to sleepily close her eyes and lean her small head onto my shoulder for a nap.
Winter sighed in defeat and flapped his crinkled wings before pulling Spawn into his lap in a fatherly way as she slept, I know when he returns to Hound he'll be the greatest husband as well as father though he's a cold man.
Only then my attention turned to the gorgeous baby now softly snoozing in my arms.
She's just a little angel.
The wind beneath my wings.
And the reason why my heart still beats.
My little Jasper.
