Fly Away

So... This Is Good-Bye

*Spring's POV*

It's time, it's finally time to go home but, now I don't want to. I can't just leave Hound and Hollow now, they mean something to me..

"You ready?" Winter approached me and the little girl with arms crossed and wings slightly spread. He and Spawn shared a vicious stare down until I broke the angry glances. The servant's hallway was completely bare except for us three.

"Yeah..." I'm not, I don't want to.

"Don't be sad Caretaker Spring, we'll be home soon!" She tried cheering me up, but, I yearn to stay by Hollow.

I weakly smiled down to her- wait, what happened to her hair?!

"Sweetie why is your hair like that?!" I slightly panicked. Ok not slightly.

"Don't you like it? Hound did it for me last night!" She cheered as my mouth went agape. Once beautiful gold locks now a deep bronze fading into blonde gold. Oh god this child.

"Let's get moving, we're on the top floor. Either we race down to the portal in the throne room which is the better option or, we jump from the window and fly out." Winter spoke all knowingly. He knows I can't fly, that son of a-

"Halt! Who are you, and what are you doing with the princesses?! INTRUDERS! INTRUDERS!" A man bursted out to from the farthest servants quarters hollering for back up. Does Jinx have a prejudices against angels too?!

Uh oh.

"Daddy stop it!" Hound darted to the man as a group of servants flocked around us with eyes glowing and tails flickering. We were completely trapped except for a window- a window!

"Winter, get ready...." I picked up Spawn with haste, I can feel her shivering in fear. I saw a glimpse of his terrified face as I jumped from the brick window opening, I tightly clutched the girl.

"SPRING YOU DUMBASS!" Winter's faded as the ground grew closer. Oh god what have I done?! I'm gonna die and so is this girl, goodbye Spawn..

"Uh, Caretaker Spring?.." My eyes peeked open, oh my god.
