*Winter's POV*
Sleep didn't come over me that well for two reasons: one I kept on worrying about my mate and two I had to discard another body.
A loud knock reverberated from my door as I struggled up get up from a restless night. I swear to god if that's Spring I'm going to throttle her, it's like, two in the morning.
"Oof!" My breath was taking away as Hound pounced on top of me with a huge stupid grin slapped upon her dark delicate features. I groaned as she pecked my face all over, not that I minded.
"Winter! My father is allowing Hollow and I to live here with him! We have a home again!" She joyously hollered.
"That's great hun, now get the hell off me before you break my rib cage." I wheezed as she squeezed me tightly against her, my face burned red at the lack of space. Why is my mate such an airhead?
"That means you and your sister....you're going back to heaven...aren't you?.." I sighed, her face dulled in realization.
I knew it was gonna come to this.
"Yes. But let me make a deal. Let me give you a child so you won't be alone, one day I'll come back to you both, ok?" I questioned softly as I gently brushed a few black locks behind her dark ear.
"Ok." Hound quietly murmured, I could see a little spark of serenity in those brown orbs. Serenity. That's what the child's name shall be.
I leaned up to softly enfold her in a kiss, her lips so soft and so fitting against mine. My heart raced as we sweetly kissed before getting into anything serious.
One day I'll return to her. One day we'll raise this child together. For now I'll leave her with a little something to remember me by.
Hound.
I truly love you.
So the night continued on with this...passion...
It wasn't till about noon that another knock was heard at my temporary door, this time the kid stood there with a small suitcase at hand.
"What do you want, kid?" I dryly spoke as I stood before the royal squirt who seemed unfazed by my cold demeanor.
"Spring said I could come with you." Little child thing said stubbornly.
"Hell no."
"Heck yes."
"No."
"Yes."
"I can't believe I'm arguing with an eight year old."
"I can't believe I'm arguing with an old man"
Ok, one more snarky remark from this twerp and I'm going to drop kick her, she's small enough.
"No means no, now scram you runt." I barked but she did not twitch a muscle, she looked to me with gloom.
"If you don't take me with, I'll tell Hound about how you killed Caretaker Lamb last night. Then daddy will get angry and destroy you." She's blackmailing me?! Damn child.
A harsh sigh escaped my lips as I turned over my shoulder to see my lovely mate resting peacefully underneath the warmth of sheets.
"Fine, just, fine. But one more smart ass reply and I'm chucking you out the window. With someone as scrawny as you it'll be real easy." Spawn cheered and raced away, probably off to bother my sister.
