*Winter's POV*

"What? Too afraid to hurt me, mate?" I couldn't help but taunt the large almost bear sized dog pinning my shoulders aggressively down.

She looked about ready to snap my neck with those powerful jaws with those crooked shark teeth but I know she couldn't if she tried.

"WINTER YOU BASTARD!" My younger sister screeched in absolute wrath, Spring sat beside the filthy demon I almost had the chance to kill moments earlier.

The male demon cradled who I assumed to be his mother loosely in his toned arms, his face straight without any emotion portrayed.

I could care less about the two bodies that lay slain by my hand, it was about to be three if this damned dog woman doesn't get off me. Mate or no mate she already irks me.

The dog gave me one last evil glare of death before rushing to aid the two other souls. Loud whimpers filled the blood reeking air as I sat up slowly.

"There isn't time to waste, Spring come. Because of your bloody mistake every season is screwed up. Mom is going to give you it this time, idiot." My voice insulted as I stood, brushing off all dirt smeared on my slacks. She ignored me, dumb flightless angel.

"Is your mother Mother Nature?" The ugly male blurted out just above a whisper, he sounded broken like a clock that won't start.

"It's none of your-"

"Yes, yes she is." Spring quickly cut me off, I'm about ready to slap her.

"And is your father Father Time?" He sputtered quickly as the dog woman weakly laid her head on his lap, loud whimpers escaped her gruff dog throat as if she was just kicked; with floppy ears folded against her skull.

"Yes Hollow, why?" She softly questioned as tears rolled down his tan cheeks.

Hollow. So that's the beast's name.

"Please..." His voice cracked mid sentence, I couldn't help but feel a small dose of guilt while watching this man and woman weakly prod my sister

"Ask them if they can bring back our mother and cousin." Oh hell no, just, hell no.

"Please..." Eyes boggling, heart thumping, I started to stop breathing as I took sight of the other demon now a human.

She was short, even shorter than my bird for brain's sister. A long dark black braid whipped around her head, skin a light ivory like this Hollow dude. Yet, those brown eyes drew me in....
