*Spring's POV*
My breath hitched, a hard lump clogged my throat....lord no...
I couldn't bare to turn away from the gruesome seen before my very own eyes, I couldn't move my feet from my spot as I stood frozen on the creaky wooden porch.
"Spring? What's wrong? Are you ok?" Hound piped up from behind, she was trying peek over my shoulder to see what was going on. I spread out my delicate left wing to block her view from the two dead corpses lying still on the dead burnt grass. I can't let her see this..
Hollow pressed besides his sister, he quickly pushed passed my outspread appendage.
"Hollow! No-" I stuttered out...but it was already too late.
"M-ma? D-Deo?" I was slightly surprised to see him fall to his knees before his decapitated mother. Blood spewed all across dead lawn. Bile raised in my throat as Winter stood before both bodies, whipping out his red liquid painted dagger while Hollow limply cradled his mother's lifeless body.
"Spring! Stay back! I'll take care of this." Winter snarled wickedly, but I could see fear in his eyes. Blood splotched his face and clothing, there was just so much.
"No!!!" I shrieked in terror but I couldn't bare to move an inch. So I helplessly watched as Winter approached Hollow, he didn't move as my brother raised his weapon ready to lop off his black haired head.
He swiped the large knife down, I squeezed my eyes shut as he swooshed the sharp weapon down. A gush of wind flushed against my wings, then there was silence.
I was slightly confused as no scream was heard, so I slowly peeked my eye open...H-HUH?
"You hurt my cousin...you hurt my mom...now...I hurt you." There stood Hound with the knife that was supposed to snap off Hollow's head piercing her right shoulder.
