*Hollow's POV*
I felt a twinge of guilt spark in my cold heart as Spring continued to sob relentlessly through the pillows. Sighing, I got up and awkwardly held her close in my embrace
She froze in my muscled arms. It was not until I felt small drips of hot tears trickle down my neck that I confirmed she was sobbing. I clutched her close like the small toy teddy bear I'd lost as a child, how she reminded of the bear...they both made me feel so, secure.
I heard Hound let out a small pathetic whimper in sympathy, an idea came to mind.
"Do you like dogs?" I blurted out randomly to Spring, my voice cracked slightly at our close proximity. Her sobs ceased for a second as she looked to me with puzzled crystal blue orbs.
"Yeah, I guess so. Why?" She squinted her eyes suspiciously. My pale lips twerked slightly in an upwards fashion on my tan face while I released her, to my dismay.
I snapped my gaze to Hound, who seemingly knew what I wanted from her without a word. A Cheshire grin sprawled her delicate features as she quickly pounced on my cold wooden floor on all fours.
Slowly yet surely a black wisp of light beamed to encase my sister's body, her tiny eyebrows furrowed in hard concentration. I heard a light gasp erupt from the angel situated besides me.
"A hellhound?" She spoke in glee as a small black mutt came into view.
My sister let out a small oh so terrifying bark in reply, her large amber eyes showing much determination from such a small dog.
"Ya don't say?" I let a sarcastic comment skip out as I picked up the small charcoal colored mutt with ease, I not so gently plopped my sister into Spring's lap.
The angel began to softly pet my sister's floppy ears as a little giggle resounded from her. At least Hound is distracting her from crying, not like I care that is...
