*??? POV*
I wasn't looking forward to heading home to the underworld again, as usual my mother would probably ask a million things of me and my little sister would act like an annoying twit. My sister really is a demon, well, I am too but that's besides the point.
I was taking my usual midnight flight as norm to clear my mind of all the torturing I committed a few hours prior to the damned mortal souls stuck in hell. When suddenly I saw a pair of white wings shoot to the ground, the body then lay unmoving a few meters beneath me.
"Angel." I spat with venom while I flapped my black wings in mid air. But I felt a wave of curiosity to get a closer inspection upon the heavenly being.
Cautiously I landed a few feet away from it. Kneeling down, I stared at the woman's pale features. Long pale blue hair hid her face my vision and pooled around her head like a snowy halo. Her wings sprawled out awkwardly as she passed out cold on the ground. A white dress scraped and battered flown to her mid thighs.
I looked over left and right with my sea green orbs to see if she had anyone with her, I spotted no soul in sight. Staring straight up, I found my answer.
"She must've fallen." I muttered to no one in particular. I sighed in frustration, I was about to do something stupid. So very stupid.
Scooping the small soul in my arms, I spread my wings and started my journey home to the underworld.
